Hello,
I am trying desperately to solve my issue but I haven’t found anything in this or any forum to this topic and I feel like I′ve tried everything.
So I′ve set a background image for the page title and everything works like it should. Even if I check the mobile version of the browser everything is on point. But when I check it on the actual phone or mobile device the image is displayed in a size where you can barely see anything. This only applies for every page except the home page.
The theme support wasn’t helpful at all and I am happy for every help.
Here an example page:
Hey Guys,
I’m using the Libretto theme since 2018 & I love it! Since the last wordpress update (to 5.7?) I’ve got a problem with my title image. If I’m logged in an editor everything looks good. If I’m logged out (my live version) I only see the half title image. Another Problem: the title image overlaps the menu navigation. In every text, at every device except iPhone!
Please see it here: https://soul-tales.de
Could somebody help me please? I’m using Libretto 1.0.9. It doesn’t work to install the new version 1.0.12. I become an error message: “there is no working plugin to install. The installation has been faild”
Thank you & best regards!
Olga
So, if you visit the www.remarpro.com page for the Libretto theme, it says “This theme hasn’t been updated in over 2 years. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.” In fact, it’s coming up on 3 years this spring.
I love Libretto, but I hear it’s not a great idea to use such an out-of-date theme, and was wondering if anyone was planning to switch, and if so, what they were thinking of using? I don’t suppose there’s any chance of getting WordPress to start maintaining this one again………
I did come across Libre 2, which isn’t bad, but I really like the pure one-column nature of Libretto.
Any advice or recommended alternative themes (that aren’t likely to be abandoned like this one)?

Hey There,
I am having a few issues on my site and have spent quite a few hours looking through forums and contacting my hosting service who said I needed to contact on here.
I have two issues. The first is that my header image is only looking how I want it on desktop. On iPad it is ok (But not the best) but on mobile it is definitely not cropped in the way I would like. Is there a way to get the image to look the same on mobile and iPad as on desktop? If not is there a way to choose which part gets cropped so that I can select part of the image rather than have it cropped the way it is?
The second issue is that my titles are overlapping my menu and just not looking good at all since I added a header image.
I tried this custom css (Which is found on one of the forums here) and it reduced the size and fixed the overlapping on most pages on iPad (but not on mobile) and also not on my individual post pages on both iPad and mobile:
@media (max-width:900px) and (min-width:400px) {
.title-block h1 {
font-size: 4rem;
}
}
Is there a way to include the post pages as well and fix the titles on mobile?
Thank you in advance,
Adam
I uploaded a logo so I no longer want the site title and tagline to display but then this removes the site title from individual blog posts (which was a nice look and a critical way to get back to the home page). How can I keep the site title off the home page (not the static page) but keep it showing up on individual posts?
Thank you for the help! Total noob here.
Hello,
I started using the Libretto Theme and have a question: Is it possible to give the text box in the blog a kind of transparency (50% or so) like the comment boxes have?
I am using classic editor blocks. In the gallery, while editing it shows the gallery caption centered as well as in small letters. However, in the final output, gallery caption is using inherited style and hence is left aligned and the font is too large. How can I make it centered and with smaller font-size?
When the responsive mobile theme is opened on an IPad or sideways mobile phone, the title of the article overlaps and blocks the menu options, making it hard to impossible to click some of the menu options and also makes the site title hard to read, not to mention it just looks sloppy. Is there a fix for this?
Secondary question, is there a way to display your logo on the homepage of the responsive mobile site when upright on a mobile phone. It seems the logo only appears in sideways view or on an IPad. Thank you and would appreciate any help.
There used to be stars and a pin icon that appeared avovd my blog posts. Those are all replaced now by letters. Can you please help me get the icons back? Thank you!
Hello,
my site loads quite slowly, and looking at PageSpeed Insight (https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/) most of the overtime is spent evaluating the script.
Is there any way I can tweak the theme to accelerate the script evaluation ?
Thanks for your support !

Thierry
Please see the logo on the top-left of the page. The lower half is not visible. Is there anyway the logo can display overlapping both the nav-bar and the mast-head?
Hello! Running Chrome on Windows 10. If you take a look at the bottom of the post, https://writesofway.org/signs-of-my-times/, you’ll see I’ve managed to make the background of the comments area #FAF9F5, but the margins are non-existent. I’d like them to match that of the post area above, but the only thing that seemed to work was setting a negative margin of something like -51. This works in desktop view but not in mobile view. Any ideas? Thank you!! Screen shot at https://i.imgur.com/SAZzSKn.png
Hi
Could you please tell me how to change font color in navigation menu?
I’d like to change hover and non-hover, normal look of the menu font
I’ve already changend current_page_item amd current_page_parent color, but I don’t know how to do the rest.
Hi! I really love this theme, especially as I was able to tweak the header and footer to my liking. I really appreciate the fact that the theme looks good with or without featured images. Thank you for creating it! ??
I just have one problem left. When I test the appearance of the mobile version in the Customizer, the “Start here!” sub-menu will not open up. I can click on the text until the cows come home, but nothing happens.
Although I’m able to edit CSS pretty well, I have no experience with PHP and haven’t touched JS in over a decade, so if solving this requires creating a child theme and editing the code, I’ll probably just have to change the menu so all the links are top-level.
But if I can fix it via CSS, that would make me very happy. ??
Thanks in advance!
I am using ‘NextPage’ to create multipart/split posts in Divi. On these multipart posts comments input box shows up at the bottom of each part/page. I want to restrict it to last part/page only. Kindly advise me how can I achieve this?
In a multi-page post, each page displays the same header and also same formatting on the first line.
I want to revert the first line on page 2 onwards to normal. I also want to modify the contents and formatting of the header on page 2 onwards (maybe to read as – Header + (Continued from Previous Page).
How can I achieve these?
The site tagline is not displaying. How do I correct this?
The “Display Site Title and Tagline” box in the Site Identity area of the Customize menu is checked and it is entered correctly in General Settings.
How does one go about customizing the Libretto theme so that it looks like the Libretto Demo Site?
The Demo Site features a navigation menu on the very top, aligned to the right. Below that is the site title and tagline, and after that comes the content.
Is this only allowed for the blog posts page of the site? The site I am currently working on does not have a blog, but we would like to use that layout.
Hello,
I am working on updating my blog, and I noticed that when I have only one category selected, no categories show up across the whole blog, but when I have more than one selected they appear again. (for clarity…if any one post only has one category, then the line disappears from all posts.)
Any thoughts?
Hi! I’m loving this theme and feel like I’ve FINALLY found the aesthetic I’ve been searching for over the last couple years.
However, I am experiencing one issue that’s throwing off the look. Specifically, I like the layout of the posts on the main page but when I open up a single post or page, the post/page title and meta tags appear on top of the header image instead of inside the content area, making it very hard to read (and not so pretty). Is there a way to make the single posts and pages look exactly the same as the main page’s posts?
If anyone has an idea of how to solve this, I’d really appreciate your help! Thank you!
Hi there,
Probably a simple bit of CSS for someone in the know, but for me I have no clue how to remove this large first letter effect in the Libretto theme. Could someone lend a hand? I’m making a website for a family member and it’s not my normal area of expertise!
He’d just like the text to be all capitals, like the rest of the headline.
Thank you in advance!
Dear Support,
I’m trying to increase logo size on all pages, can’t find the code. Also it is possible to substitute the mobile Title by logo on mobile header?
Thank you,

How to center the menu in the nav area?
When I view the site with Safari the image at the top of the pages runs too wide in Chrome no issues?
Hi,
My name is Amarate. I’m a newbie website creator. I started to create a website to show my landscape photographic works a few days ago.
I love your theme so much. It’s simple but beautiful. I finished custom it to show as I want yesterday.
Today, I tried to use third party photo gallery (NextGen Gallery). I really need to use its lightbox. However, I was encountered conflict between NextGen’s lightbox and your theme. It cannot show the lightbox when clicking the photo. I followed the instruction of NextGen team and found that there is no conflict between their lightbox and some basic WordPress themes such as “Twenty Twelve” and “Singl”. One more thing, I tried to delete my additional CSS code, but that’s not help in this case.
So, could you please find out what is the problem and fix it.
PS. Another minor problem, after I switched to other themes and then switch back to “Libretto”, I found that the social widget get loss (not even show in widget setting).
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi
Is it possible to reduce the size of the post header image. I use very small images. I would love to keep them the same size as they appear in the post summary page.
regards
Antonius
Hi There. I couldn’t find this topic. I see on theme is advertised with a summary of posts with a ‘cute’ “Read on for more tips and tricks” line. How do I get my posts to just show summaries instead of the complete post one after the other.
Hello,
The inc/template-tags.php, line 56, contains the hard-coded english word “of” , which is used as in “Page x of y” . (For you to get the idea.The actual text does not show the word “Page”) . It resides between the html tags.
Actual code :

<?php echo intval( $paged ); ?> of <?php echo intval( $wp_query->max_num_pages ); ?>

Proposed code :

<?php echo intval( $paged ); ?> / <?php echo intval( $wp_query->max_num_pages ); ?>

Yes, I implemented the easiest (imho) translation-proof “/” instead of an actual word ??
Of course a more academic approach would look like :

<?php echo intval( $paged ); ?> _x('of') <?php echo intval( $wp_query->max_num_pages ); ?>

I’m not sure that single character replacement warrants that I propose a svn patch myself? ??
The dropcap works as expected on a single post page, but when showing all posts, it causes an unpleasant issue with the right margin of the first few lines of the post. Can you help me find where in CSS this issue can be resolved. I have looked everywhere and cannot find where the right margin of text which is wrapping around a dropcap is configured.
Thank you
