Can someone please let me know if there is a version of the theme that is compatible with PHP8?

I’m using the free version of Latte on two sites. On the first, it works great. On this site, I cannot get the Customize options to show up on the homepage. I can change the static page; I can switch to blog view; but that’s it.

For example:

Appearance > Customize > Intro Section > Settings > the “hide” box is unchecked, but the “Intro Section” does not show up on the page. Neither do any of the other Sections under Appearance > Customize.

If I check and uncheck the “hide” box, the preview pane appears to show it updating, but the Section still does not show.

I would appreciate any help! Thank you!

hi, I setup the theme and all is working great except on mobile the logo and slogan part is not working right (not centred)

also I would like to make the about section text justified

I have a personal site on WP where, I share short blog on IT subject.

Since 15 Jan 2020, I am having issue with recent post. They are showing up on the site but not on the top of the page based on the date they are posted. For example 4th Feb 2020 post should be on the top but they are down. All my post show up under KB section menu within the site.

I reached out to hosting provider for help. They told me to disable all the plugin and change the Theme to see, if the issue is resolved. I tried and it did not. They are unable to help me.

My question – Is it possible to edit WP page to fix post issue? If so, I can login to hosting provider page with admin credentials and edit appropriate page and fix post issue.

Blog KB – This is where all the post are listed but they are not in proper date order.

I bought the Pro version of Latte Theme, and I really like it in general!
At the moment I face some problems with the header image on the portfolio detail pages. Some days ago, I tried different options, one of them was a plain “image” consisting only of a background colour.
Today, I wanted to try several other things, but whatever I did (assigning a new image, removing the background image) had no effect. It stayed the same background image on the site.
Then I removed the image completely from the media library, and since then the Latte default header appears, but again no chance to change this.

What can I do to have the flexibility again to change background images?

And is there any chance to get rid of the header in portfolio detail pages at all?

Btw, I would find it helpful if there was a way back to the start page / portfolio overview beside using the menu or clicking the header.

I’m testing this theme with the contact form extension.

Problem: the contact form section will not be generated if the “blogposts” section is deactivated in theme settings.

The service section boxes are overlapping onto the ‘subscribe’ section. It’s okay when viewed on a mobile device though. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I deleted the default header of latte theme for my homepage and I have now an empty space between the top of the page and the beginning of my content.

How can I delete that space to have my content starting at the top of my page ?

I can’t get the social icons to show on my homepage.

I have set the URLs in the configuration page fields but the error icon keeps showing up.

Is the theme still supposed to load the icons by itself or do I have to set anything manually?

My problem is when I set the header under the ‘profilepicture’ in the start is Works perfectly on pc and tablet, but i doesnt look good on mobile. I’ve written #HOME&TECH and you cant see tech when you’re on mobile.

Please help ??

Dear Latte Theme dev,

I noticed that the blog elements on Home Page are stretched too much passing from Mobile to Desktop view. In fact, in tablet view, the one column layout makes the pictures appear too wide. Only continuing to increase the width of the screen, at a certain point the layout becomes two columns of content. But in the meantime it is not opmitized and not appealing.

How to solve this little annoying problem? Otherwise the theme looks quite professional.

Dear Latte Theme dev,

I changed the option “site-url” in WordPress options from https://lnx.gianlu….. to https://www.gianlu….. and “Customize” section disappeared showing the error: Non-existent changeset UUID Also all the icons disappeared. I suppose there is a faulty call to fontawesome icons, but can’t find where to fix it.

My contact section is in the middle of the page, above the services section. But I want it to be on the bottom. Just as it is in the demo version (that seems to be the best place for a contact section I think??).

I am using the latte theme on my site, and have now received three emails through the contact form, but they only show the following and not any actual content from the person who has emailed. I’m using the contact form supplied by the theme creator and just copied and pasted the settings directly as instructed. I’m not sure how to fix this?

The background image is perfect when im on any device except a cell phone. When I bring it up on my sell phone the image gets zoomed in and blurry. If anyone could help me out that would be great.

Hello, can i add custom section on the Latte free version ? In the premium version ?

I have issues with the service section. When I click on latte service widget and go back to home page the half height of widgets overlaping the next section … in my case, the contact form. I tried to give the height of the service section and everything else with positioning, but nothing helps. This problem does not occur every time but sometimes, the most commonly in chrome.

How does one maintain smooth scrolling after customizing the menu using custom links?

So I have a background image in the “intro” section, using the theme customiser then we can add transparency to a solid color over that image. This works fine in desktop computers, however I can’t get the same result on mobile phones. It seems like the background image disappears leaving the background color in a lighter tone because there’s no picture behind it.

Has anybody experienced the same thing? I need some help please.
