Hi folks, I’m having a hard time finding the solution that is relevant to my problem. Perhaps it is already posted on this forum, if so could someone please redirect me?

I am using landscape theme and want to remove the header image (not the menu navigation bar) from all pages including the home page. I have already done so with the appearance editor, but I’m now left with a large blank space where the header image was supposed to be. Any help would be appreciated..thanks!

I will try to be as precise as possible and say that I’m not (at all) a tech person and I don’t know much about coding (but I’m able to follow instructions and I’m willing to resolve this ??

Here is my problem.

I want my websites to be mobile friendly. As far as I now (thanks WPyogi), it seems that this theme is responsive.

I checked on different websites to see if mine were looking good on mobiles. I tested on

1) https://www.studiopress.com/responsive/

2) https://snippets.hubspot.com/hubspot-device-lab

1) For https://kirituarua.com, everything looks fine except for the header which is not resizing. And for some posts titles, some of them seem cut off, especially when I navigate into posts.

Besides when I scroll down, the “banner menu” doesn’t move.

If it can help, I have the custom CSS plugin installed with these line of codes on it:

I also customized my theme with my own header (1440 × 250 pixels).

2) Same problem for https://kwivoo.com. The header is not resizing. It is not as obvious as the other site because the title is shorter but we can clearly see that it is not resizing on small screen mobile devices.

And on almost all mobiles devices, the icons images you see on the home page are all cut off.

I was just wondering if it was possible to have a sidebar for the blog?

How would I go about adding one in?

I’ve got Landscape 1.0.3 installed and my blog is set up with a static home page. I’m relying on the category archives to act as a list of my past blog posts, but I’d like to change the layout somewhat drastically (without affecting the other pages of the site too badly). Here’s what I’m trying to do on the blogurl.com/category/slug page:

1. Content should be aligned left instead of center
2. Each item should be only title and date, no post content or excerpt
3. If possible, I’d also like to add a calendar icon to the left of each title

I know HTML and CSS but have only a rudimentary understanding of PHP at this point, so I’ve got my fingers crossed that most of this can be resolved in the stylesheet.

Love using landscape on my site but it would be helpful if I could customize the external links (any <a>‘s..) without creating a child theme. As it is they are the same colour as the regular text and thus are not noticable to users who don’t follow along with their mouse (I do try to indicate with the text but it’s tedious).

Right now, under appearances>header, the landscape theme will only let me resize my header to 500px in height and 1440px in width or smaller. I want my header to be 1500px in height and 2000px in width. How do I do this?

Also, because the header image will not cover the full width of the screen the sides of the image will be black automatically. How do I make the sides of the image transparent like the rest of the content area (wood, in this case)?

I know how to change the widget title size but I can’t figure out how to change the text size of the widget content, such as within a simple text widget. I have just started my website and it is in a very rough draft state but I am trying to get it to look good and be organized the way I want it.

Ive done some research and even installed ewww image optimizer plug in and can’t get my image to fit all monitor screens perfectly. And the loading time of my background image is rather slow.

I’d like to know if there are any css codes I can use or plug ins that may help resolve this issue. Or how I can go into my stylesheet css to fix this.

When I designed the website on my 12″ screen laptop, the header image looked just fine, but when I view the site on larger screens, there are black bars on either side of the header image. Is there a way that I can change this color to match my background color?

The theme responds beautifully for all other content, but the banner image is cropped significantly on iPhone. Is there any way to make the banner image responsive on all devices?

Hello, I’m trying to change the size of the image header in my child theme. For some reason, it doesn’t let me import functions.php to the child theme (I get a “fatal error” message when I try this). Any advice?
