Sorry if this is in the wrong area, this is my first time posting.

Basically, I’ve been building a site https://www.appedia.co.uk and would like the first page to be a static page telling people how to use the site. However, a key part of the site is the search bar and the categories menu but they won’t appear on any pages at all, just on posts.

I’ve selected them to show on posts and pages in the customize theme section and it’s not working. I’ve also tried deactivating all plugins so I have no idea what do to. I’m not knowledgeable at all about code so I’m pulling my hair out at the moment!

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Homepage post short-lists do not always have the “continue reading” display.. scrolling down about 10 previews I noticed the “Continue Reading” was not displaying on a few of the posts. Would you know why this is happening?

Hi I am looking to remove the featured image from the single post, I would like it to stay on my home page as a featured image, and when you click the post the featured image goes away.
