I have two almost identical sites, and after I upgraded one to 4.2.2 it is running really slow – like 30 seconds to load a page as opposed to 1.8 seconds for 4.1.x .

I checked on tools.pingdom.com and it showed an inital (but slow) load for 5 seconds, and then a 10 second lag with nothing, and then another 10-15 seconds for the rest.

All the images are optimized and this is causing the site to be ignored by potential customers.

I want to disable the slider in the Irex lite theme..How do I get rid of the slider on the top of page?? Also I saw that you can make it so you can click on the pictures in the area at the bottom of page with some css and html coding..what do you do and where to allow to click the picture to go to the page?

Two things:
1) is there documentation for how to set up each of the features of the site? I’m having difficulty figuring it out, especially how to size my logo – it gets enlarged and is huge on the site.
2) I’m having difficulty uploading images. It goes through the process but never really uploads the image, it says it is 0x0 in size.

This is a lovely theme, but I’m struggling to get it to work right. Thanks.

I uploaded a custom logo of recommended size (314 x 50px interlaced PNG) and everything looked good in Firefox. But when I looked at the site in Internet Explorer or accessed it through a mobile device, there is an issue of Irex default logo (dark red) showing up at the bottom of my custom logo (looks like it overlapping).
I really like the theme, and I would like to keep it for my site. Please help to resolve the issue.

I am have a problem uploading images in irex lite. I have managed to upload a couple, but all the rest in the slider and in the feature area the up loaders gets hung I have tried using smaller images but nothing is working,

I really like this theme an hope I don’t have to change it.

Hello. I just started to use irex lite theme and I see vote buttons doesnt work on main page. If I click “read more” after then I can click buttons.

One more thing about buttons. I was log out and I tried to vote again but I got information like “already voted”.. I should see “login screen” right?

I am a beginner in WordPress…And i could manage to do some test websites with a few themes…
But with Irex Lite i don’t manage even to change the ‘logo’…
I upload the logo but it doesn’t appear in the front page…

And i am not able to find one tutorial for beginners (and if it is one video, better)…
It seems a nice theme and i would like to test it…

I am using Irex lite for my site and for some reason when you hover over read more on post it says “Rest the rest” instead of “Read the rest”. I poured over the code and only found one place that it said that in one of the php files I fixed it but it did not change it on the site–help

What kind of slider is used in the irex lite about us page layout were the picture slides away and text shows up behind it(the whole picture moves).
