I know how to change the menu background colors, but how do you change the text color on hover?

The slider is only visable when I’m in the ‘Customizer’. It doesn’t appear on the website. What’s wrong?

I’ve been using the InDreams theme for a couple of years on https://artworks4me.net, excellent theme and many thanks. I logged in today and updated wordpress to 4.7, updated the theme to 1.7 and updated Full Background Image Manager WordPress Plugin to 2.1. Now all the clever stuff has disappeared, background images, scrolling images etc.
I would appreciate any suggestions on reverting?

I want change “textarea” type to “texteditor” type option in the admin panel on tab “Theme Option”. But when I open “theme-option.php” and set there “type” => “textarea” to “type” => “texteditor” nothing change!

Why is It happens? How can I fix it? How can be texteditor setted in Theme Option?

I would like for the posts on the home page to appear without the image. I’d prefer the title with a brief blurb.

I love everything else about the design so hope there is an easy way to make this change.

This may be a ridiculously simple question, however I am unable to figure out how to remove the overlaying image (bp.jpg, the one with the ladybug on the dandelion) from the front page. I have found the JPG in the PHP file, but am not sure how to remove the image without playing with the coding (PHP is new to me), and just removing the image does not allow the image/text I put into the WordPress software to show up. I can change the text within the front-page.php file, and could redirect the img code to another picture, but that is not really going to work too well.

Any general assistance or places to look on how to figure this out?

I can’t figure out how to remove the default displayed posting, below the 3 services section on the home page? The site I am building has no need for any posts to display anywhere, I would love to replace it with just a centered small image?

I use Indreams as my theme. A wonderful and great theme. However, I was wondering if it is possible to link the two slide images to pages and posts? The same question applies for the three column features on the homepage. I tried to make changes in the theme-options.php (child theme) but no changes are visible.

I’m looking to use this theme but when I go to change permissions on the files to allow me to edit and upload it is denied. I am checking to see if it’s an issue with my hosting provider but also wanted to check here if you have something setup to prevent file permissions from being changed?

I got a problem with my blog page that I am trying to solve for some time now. My website is not yet online, so I hope I am able to give you a clear indication of my problem.

In the sidebar of my blog page there are two archives shown, namely Categories and Archives. I am unable to translate these categories anywhere. Moreover, I found out that these options are not working. I have written three posts but none of these are categorized under Categories or Archives. If you click on the category below the title of a post, you can go to the category page. Only the sidebar options do not work. I think I need to make some changes in the sidebar file. However, I tried several things with no success yet. I use the wonderful indreams template which does not have a category file, but does have an archive file. I don’t know if this has anything to do with my problem. I also tried to make use of widgets, but widgets are not shown on this page, only when I removed part of the sidebar file.

I’m using the InDreams theme but there are a few issues I’m having that I can’t resolve.

Firstly, on the home page the tab name on my browser doesnt show Quick Accountancy, it shows http:/ww…ancy.com. Though on other pages, such as Services, the tab says Services. How do I change it so that when on the homepage the tab at the top in the browser says Quick Accountancy?

Secondly the slider image is massive. How can I resize it so that it’s narrower? It takes up a lot of the page as it is without adding a lot.

Finally, and this is less of a problem, I have a logo at the top but I’d like to change it to something larger.

Currently I have:

but I’d like to use:

however when I do it resizes it and it’s far too small and you can’t read it properly.

For my website I would like to have some pages full width and no sidebar. I created a new page template for a full width page and removed the sidebar (<?php get_sidebar() ?>). The widgets disappeared but the page itself is still not full width. I think I need to change the width of the text area in the content section of the Style CSS, but I don’t know exactly where I can make this change. Could you help me explaining where I can make this change and what I need to change? I hope it is possible to make no sidebar full width pages with this beautiful web design. Thanks.

Also, can I remove the theme name from footer?

I’ve been able to find the code to change the background of the bar from blue to black and want to change the page that I’m on in the menu from blue. Can you tell me if that is some part of the code that I haven’t found yet or is a .png file? I’ve looked for both and just can’t find it anywhere.
