When I open a Post that has a Tag associated with it… the font size associated with the Tag is several times larger than the other Tags listed. (I don’t know how to better explain this)
I think I understand the rationale for doing this… I would just really like to reduce the font size… it really is too big.
Thank you.
I have looked through your tutorials but I did not see where or how to add descriptions to categories and have them display below each category
A user has posted a message but to the wrong category.
How do I move this message from the Welcome category to a new post and a new category?
Again, I think this is something that should be part of the core theme. There are two WP plugins available: one is outdated and the other won’t respond to my support request.

I installed the Catch Child Theme in order to create a recommended child theme for Ignite Plus. Here is what it is asking me to do:
Select Parent Theme:? ?… I entered Ignite Plus
Child theme’s name: … would the correct name here be Child Ignite Plus ??
Description: … possibly The Child theme for Ignite Plus
Author … ???
Version … ??? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?
Will you help provide better or more correct entries here — or maybe recommend a different child theme creator plugin ??
Thank you,
Charles
I would like to change the font size to the site identity (larger) and the post title (smaller).
Can any help me with this ?? Thank you !!

Would like to add a block of copy that would show in this category only. I’m using Ignite Plus with child theme. I’m ok with modifying code, but… Which theme file controls this?
Second question also related to category display: when I first load a category page, it doesn’t show the articles in 2 columns, there are some blank spaces — if I resize the page, even slightly, content all snaps into place. Hopefully you’ll see this at link above.
Is this a CSS issue, or Javascript, and how would I go about fixing?
Theme’s been working very well otherwise, very easy to work with.
Thanks,
Sam
Just discovered Ignite and started playing with the features. Is there an Ignite exhibit or is anyone willing to share their sites so others can learn what is possible? Always amazed how a theme can create so many different websites.
Hello,
I’m testing out this beautiful theme, and have one question. How to create pagination on the Front Page (Blog Post Index). My setup only seems to offer infinite scroll, and I need to be able to paginate as I have almost 400 blog posts.

Hello,
I use the standard IGNITE Theme and want to REMOVE the sidebar from my Main Home Page Completely (which is no problem), but I want to place the CATEGORY WIDGET in the Top Header alongside the Main Menu Navbar.
Somehow, I cant find out how to move the CATEGORY Widget to anywhere other than the SIDEBAR. Does anyone know how to work around this?
Main Home page is https://www.usa1000.com
Thank you in advance…
Hello
I have problem with the responsive layout, mostly on pages with tables. I am on the way to buy the PRO of the ignite theme, but if i have the same problem as the free version is no use.
The url you can check is https://nbi19.com/encyclopedia-wows/#.Xs7tVud7mUk and https://nbi19.com/wargaming-bonus-codes/#.Xs7tbOd7mUk this 2 pages is hard to see in the mobile phone, i also added the in the header.php in my theme, but no luck.
If i can see this good in the theme i will buy the PRO.

Hi
Recently moved my Dad’s website onto wordpress and am impressed with general ease of use. Have gone for ignite theme and have got it looking how we want it with only a little bit of additional css.
However, I am struggling with the css needed to remove the title from the homepage (and the homepage only). Currently there is excess white space between the header menu and the image I have used instead of a title.
I think I need
?????.page-title {
display:none;
}
But just not sure what should go instead of the ???.
If anyone can help I would be very grateful.
The Ignite theme looks really great with Buddypress and bbPress forums. However, when entering a forum I would prefer to get more screen space dedicated to the forum. It is very squished and difficult to read and navigate with the right-hand sidebar showing. Any way of hiding the sidebar when bbPress forums are open?
If I create a page on the website “Forum” and I put the bbpress shortcode [bbp-forum-index] on that page, and set the template to full-width, I can at least see the Forum index full page when going there from the menu item.
However, my forums are linked to Buddypress groups, so certain members have access to certain forums according to the group they are in. When entering a forum even from the forum index page I created, it automatically redirects (as is understandable) to community -> groups -> [groupname] -> forum. And there is no option for choosing a full page width template from here…

Short of padding the text, is there a way to force the Read More?

I’m using Ignite and would like to create a child theme. The instructions say to create a new folder in the themes directory, located at wp-content/themes. I seem to have four of those folders under the folders wordpress, wordpress 2, wordpress 3, and wordpress 4. I did not deliberately create these instances but imagine they must have come about because I started dealing with multiple wordpress sites years ago. The Ignite site is the only one I’m designing myself.
However none of the themes directories contain the word “Ignite.” All four of the themes directories contain only folders for the themes of twentynineteen, twentyseventeen, and twentysixteen. How is this possible given that I’m using Ignite for sure? I have done a Mac-wide search for the word “Ignite” and it turns up nothing. And even by looking at update dates, I can’t figure out which of these wordpress 1/2/3/4 instances my site is using, and therefore can’t figure out where to create the child theme folder. Can you help?
Hi, I rectified a wrong french translation using Poedit. Next post was translated as “article suivrant”. The right one is “article suivant”.
Meanwhile I couldn’t find out how to make “No newer posts” translate to french. Searched into Ignite’s fr.po and wordpress languages po’s as well, couldn’t find the expression. “Newer posts” is translated as “articles récents” which is correct, but “no newer posts” doesn’t appear anywhere and keeps not being translated. Any idea ?
Hi, now I’d like to reduce the widgets’ height : I mean both the space between items inside the widgets and their overall height.
Actually I can change the height using :
.sidebar-primary .widget {

But don’t know how to change the line space inside (including between title and items)
Last but not least : round corners ?
Thanks !

Hi, I’ve used your theme for many years, several websites, because I really like it!
However, now that I have changed my php from 5.6 to 7.0, all jpegs have disappeared from 2 of my blogs with Ignite theme. As I am a cartoonist, this is pretty serious. Gifs are fine. All blogs share the same plugins almost exactly.
I tested all blogs with the PHP Connection Checker and they came out fine for Ignite.
I tried this 2 days ago upgrading to 7.3 php and same thing. I was hoping 7.0 might work.
Maybe it’s not the theme, not sure. I can see the jpgs once I hit edit, but I don’t know how to make them appear online any more.
Can you help, please?
