This is a great theme both free and premium. They also have a great support always ready to help with less than a days respond time always. I bought the premium version to support the developers and get a few extra features (Not necessary at all)

I’ve been using this theme for several websites for a few months now. I was very impressed with it when I started — that’s why I picked it — and the more I’ve gotten to know it, the more I like it.
The free version has a ton of functionality and flexibility but is extremely easy to use.
If I need to upgrade to a commercial version for additional feature, I can, for a reasonable price. Plus, since I know there’s a studio behind it, I know that there’s someone I can call on if I ever need tech support or customization. I haven’t yet — the theme is pretty robust. I’ve been able to do everything I’ve wanted so far either within the theme itself or by adding some Custom CSS is in the customization section.
After trying it out on some smaller sites, I’ve now decided to switch my biggest website over to the theme as well.
They’ve released something like 15 updates of the theme in the past year, which I also like to see. By the way, since the theme is being worked on quite actively, I’m going to be really careful about not messing with the theme’s code — I don’t want to not be able to upgrade easily. The last time I did a major redesign of my main website I needed so many customizations that I pretty much rewrote large portions of the theme, and then wasn’t able to upgrade easily even with having a child theme set up and eventually had to throw out my custom code.
Hoot Du, as is, and with the Custom CSS feature, gets me to 100% of what I need, which is a big relief.

Theme has been 5 star from the get go! Ran in to some trouble with a plugin compatibility and I had to contact support for help. Replies were very quick and help was A++. Was able to resolve my issue quick smart!
