Hi,

I have almost no CSS or HTML experience.

In the Hipwords theme (which I really like) I’m designing a custom front page header with a specific design and logo that I don’t want displayed on other pages.

Problem is, when I go to any other page or post on the site that same header image still appears, and since this theme overlays the page/post title on the header image it blocks whatever custom work I did with the front page image.

Is there a way I can have that custom designed header for just the front page (which also includes my blog) and then have a standard header or no header images for the rest of the page?

I finally got the “Portfolio” option to appear on the dashboard menu. I can’t for the life of me find how to either assign a projects/portfolio page or embed projects on a page using shortcodes. Appreciate some direction here.

I love this theme and all the built in features it has, but I’ve haven’t been able to figure out why the header doesn’t seem to be responsive. If I input an image in the customizer, at the specified dimensions, it cuts off the bottom portion of my image. And, when I resize the browser window, it doesn’t seem to resize well to the smaller dimensions.
