You need to be a little patient when you get started with this theme. Opening in WordPress takes some time. Once live it works great. Especially in combination with Autoptimize.

This is a nice theme but only about 15% of the options are available on the Free version. If you are going to download pro it might be worth it but I wouldn’t bother with the free version.

This theme rekindled my love for the WordPress platform. I had been having a lot of trouble making a beautiful, responsive website with a lot of other themes, and I wanted it to be more graphically engaging than the basic themes that come pre-installed with WP.
Enter the Highlight Theme, and my worries have gone away. AMAZING customation options, and it looks so dang good and clean straight out of the box.
I was able to take a one-page site with this theme, using some other optimization plugins, and achieved a 100 and 95 on GTMetrix for Google and Yahoo, respectively. That’s pretty amazing, considering how aesthetically rich this theme is.
Kudos to the dev team for knocking this one out of the park. The PRO version is absolutely worth it for even more versatility and multi-page site customization.

First of all I ordered the wrong pro theme. Support quickly swapped my order for me, no hassle at all.
Secondly I couldn’t understand certain aspects of the theme, support quickly and concisely explained the solution for me.
Thirdly, the page builder on this theme produces fantastic results, very professional aesthetics and naturally user friendly. I have purchased the pro theme so I can use the page builder on my inner pages.

I cannot say enough how easy this template is to use. I have no prior experience building websites. The customer support is incredible, they answer all my questions quickly and help me solve any issues I have in creating a professional looking website. It is very easy to use, to configure and to customize. A lot of possibilities are allowed and you can even customized the theme according to your need by inputing direct CSS on it.

I’ve had some issues mainly caused by misunderstanding of when I’ve crossed limits (I had copy and pasted a PNG into a title box in customizer’s edit mode which is not supported by the product). The support has analyzed the resulting problem with great patience together with me in a TV session and finally found this cause. For the price you pay you could not afford a software engineer for such a long support session. So it is well worth it.
The theme is also very flexible and up o now I could really individualize every single point I wanted to change.
I’m only missing a plain text section for inner sites for use of all the legal stuff we need in the EU (privacy, disclaimer, etc.). But I fear I just have not yet found out how to do this in the best way.
Which leads me to the only minor point: There is no detailed online documentation for the theme and customizer. So I had lots of work with trial and error to find my way. But when looking at the price I now that good and detailed documentation would make the product much more expensive and would need to be updated all the time.
