Is there any option in Highlight theme (free version) to use the same page contents in the same page?
]]>I switched to the highlight theme a few days ago and I love it.
Now I’m planning to integrate a bbpress forum, but the highlight theme doesn’t show the forum navigation or breadcrumbs.
It works fine with other themes, so I can rule out a problem with bbpress.
Even with the bbpstyle plugin you cannot force the breadcrumbs to be displayed.
However, navigating through the forum is impossible without breadcrumbs.
Is there a solution to this problem? If the solution is only possible with the Pro version of the theme, that would be great too, as I plan to purchase it as long as I can get everything to work.

I have an issue with the widget option of our footer. There are three widgets that can be customized, the fourth one being copyright, social media icons etc. Here is the question: can I remove two of the three widgets and only keep one that bigger, like 75% of the space and the other 25% being the copyright box?
Example: This is how it looks now, this is how I want it to look.
]]>On the homepage – not on other pages – two of the menu columns have blue underlines. That would be fine if there was some logic to it, but with no logic, it just gives a mild sense of chaos and confusion.
Any attempt to see a logical explanation for why those two categories/columns are underlined and other categories/columns are not – any such attempt fails.
If there’s no logical reason, why is it happening?
My site got infected with malware so my host shut down wp-admin access. While waiting for malware to be removed I have a very urgent need to add some text to the homepage. (The homepage still loads.)
I think I originally entered the text on the homepage thru the Highlight/Mesmerize admin area, which I can’t get to now since I don’t have wp-admin access.
Where is that text stored? Does highlight/mesmerize have its own database? I can use PhpMyAdmin to edit text thru the backend, directly editing a database record, thus this seems the best way to add text to my homepage. I don’t think my homepage is a Post / Page. I think it was created using Highlight/Mesmerize settings.
Sections are added on the local host, everything works. On the hosting, sections can be deleted and cannot be added. Why?

]]>About half the height of the videos is missing. JetPack support says the theme is causing the error. On the right sidebar while editing the post, I clicked Advanced and entered height: 800px. That had no effect.
To be clear, I’m not talking about a embed plugin, I’m talking about WordPress’ native block for embedding Instagram posts (the block called Instagram).

I have installed the Highlight Pro theme and wanted to install a Demo Site, as I don’t really have a coding background and I have to get a website up asap.
All needed plugins are installed, but unfortunately the import gets interrupted almost immediately and the message Error: error (500) appears.
What can/do I have to do to resolve this?

I am writing to seek assistance regarding an issue I’m facing with my website that is using the Highlight theme.
On my inner pages, specifically, the title and logo are overlaying each other. Strangely, the preview within the theme editor appears fine, but once the page is published, the overlay issue occurs. This has become quite problematic as it affects the overall user experience and aesthetics of the site.
If there are specific CSS adjustments or settings within the theme that I might have missed, please let me know. Alternatively, if there’s a recommended way to remove the title from the hero section on inner pages, that could also potentially solve the problem.

I am working with the Highlight PRO theme. I have added blog blocks to the bottom of my web pages but on some of those pages I want the block to only pull blog posts from certain categories. For example, on this page, I only want the blog section to display posts in the “cyber” category. I’m struggling to find a plugin or CSS entry that works.

I am trying to move the highlight theme site from one subdomain to another. For example: oldsite.example.com to newsite.example.com
Everything look just nice except that the top header menu gets very wrong. The site links works but some new links appear as “Frontpage” etc. There is no submenus in the top header. It seems that it’s getting the information from the wrong rows in the database?
Anyone have any clues to this issue or how can one move this theme to a new subdomain?
(The site is just in development stage before it goes live).

]]>Update: I found the cause – Autoptimize – now disabled. Do you know how I can get Autoptimize and Highlight’s slideshow to work together?

When I click “View Source”, I see it includes a scriptid='mesmerize-theme-js-extra'>var mesmerize_backstretch
which includes the correct urls of the slideshow images, so why don’t they display?
(any browser, any device)
Plugins and theme are all up-to-date.

Found: When I disabled Autoptimize, the slideshow appeared again.
When I re-enabled Autoptimize, the slideshow disappeared again.
I have left Autoptimize disabled.

The “option” buttons for modification no longer exist. How can I do ?

I think my site has a few bugs that I’m not sure how to fix.
1. The photo gallery by Supsystic plugin is on the Directory gallery view page. However, there’s a mask over the gallery and it’s not being shown. I think it’s an error with the theme, but I’m not sure how to fix that.
2. On the homepage, when I change the frontpage background video in the “edit with Highlight” section it completely changes the home screen. All of my Vimeos and pictures convert to html and to recover them I have to start over the home page and make it from scratch. Is there a way that changing the video won’t affect the home page?
