Hi, I’m using the Heidi theme, and am looking for a way to modify the Mobile menu. When viewed on a smartphone, it is labeled “Primary Menu“. We’d like to change it to read something else.
Thanks

]]>The footer is appearing in the middle of the screen on my pc and on my tablet, but OK on the phone. This is only on two pages. Page URL’s are https://www.my-familytree.net/our-tree/ and https://www.my-familytree.net/family-tree-2/
Doesn’t seem to matter what browser you use, this still happens.
If this can’t be fixed, how to remove the footer altogether?
Hi, is there a way to quickly import the display of your theme demo? It is really nice, I want to have my website as your demo.

]]>Hi Alexa
Just a small detail you might want to put right. Have a look at the site on a mobile phone in portrait orientation. It says “Primary Menu” which looks like a placeholder or something. It works, it links to the menu which is why I say it’s not urgent but it looks a bit unfinished and out of place with the rest of the site. Other themes have given a box border around the word MENU in caps.
I am trying to fix a website for a community association and I chose Heidi theme because it came up one of the best on Google Pagespeed. I think it’s really a great theme and so easy to customise, etc. I have already got help from this forum so here I am again.
I want this site to be visible on all platforms, both orientations. It’s fine on desktop, mobile phone, and Samsung tablet in portrait orientation. But on the tablet in landscape, the sidebar is covering the post itself. On the phone, in landscape the “sidebar” goes to the bottom of the post so it’s perfectly readable.
It’s such a shame as I love the theme and I’ve got so much of it sorted out now.
UPDATE:
It’s not the browser, it does the same in Chrome and Firefox.
I love this theme and the way you can customise the colours. But there are a few that you can’t change and I’ve tried everything I can think of. I’ve searched the CSS for # to find hex numbers and changed what I thought would help but it hasn’t.
It’s the hover colour on links that’s bothering me because the colours are so light they don’t show up on the pale background I’ve got. The main navigation links are fine, it’s links in comments and auto-generated when you do this
That should be a link to my site, by the way.
If you go to the site fagley.org.uk you should see a mailto link for [email protected]. It’s green but changes to the background colour when you hover. At least that’s what I assume – maybe it goes transparent? Other links turn white which is what I want them to do.
Rookie question, but google isn’t being at all helpful. I would really like to know how to alter the layout of my site (www.behaviourbabble.com) so that the paragraphs of text within my posts do not stretch so far across the page (I’m not sure what the technical name for this is!).
I love all other aspects of the theme (Heidi), but this is really bugging me. It just makes my site look not quite right when my sentences take up such a large proportion of the screen.
I assume i need to alter the stye.css, but since i have never done this before I will probably need a bit of walking through the process!
Advice would be really apprenticed!
