Two things with the GutenBooster theme.

1. I’d love to have my logo in the middle at the top of the home page with menu items on either side. Whenever I set the layout to do so, the menu gets screwed up and adds in another menu. I’m not sure why that happens.

2. I also want to change the word “Home” to say something else, but I can’t figure out where to change the text.

Any help would be appreciated! It’s a great theme, just think I’m missing a few things.

I would like to know if I can leave the hamburger menu by default and that only this is visible.

Hi,

The theme doesn’t work right on a CDN. The search and other icons are missing.

The error is Unsafe attempt to load URL <URL> from frame with URL <URL>. Domains, protocols and ports must match., this should be seen in your browser console (Ctrl+Shift+I or F12).

I don’t know if there are other people having the same issue but it’s most likely.

Is there a possible fix fot this?

I’m working on a website for a client and we chose Gutenbooster theme for its flexibility and centered logo possibility. However, I realized the social media icons are not showing on the mobile version of the website.

When customizing > Header > Additional menu elements, we can chose to put the social media icons on the left or right side of the header, but there’s no option for the mobile version of the header (or of the menu).

Is it wanted ? Is it going to stay this way ? Or am I missing something ?

Hi there,
I am trying to change the background color of the dropdown/submenu as it is white, and my white menu text disappears.

I tried changing different color options in the theme colors tab but I could not get the background to change. I also tried to change the color through the css but was not able to do so.

I would really appreciate help with how to do this!

• It looks like the default hover effect, at least for the main menu, is an animated line.
• And for pages one is on, the line below the menu item is persistent.

I can’t seem to isolate the element or identity the correct css to prevent this behavior. Can you help?

I have social icons and the search icon on the top-right side of this website’s header. The icons are showing up fine in Chrome and Edge, but they don’t show up in Internet Explorer. How can I fix this?

Hi thanks for looking at this, I know there are a lot of issues that have previously been raised about getting items to correctly centralise etc and have done a lot of reading, tried just about everything including editing theme CSS, creating additional CSS in the editor to make left and right margins auto.

Cannot for the life of me get the main frame to correctly align centrally to the page!??!

The items inside the main block align centrally to the block correctly, but the block doesn’t appear to work in aligning to the page?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m certainly not an expert, but have tried to work my way through things ??

I need to ask you: Can I assign a prominent image banner to the search results?

As I have it, the background color and the text that says “Search” appear

I have set the theme to display the featured image as a banner on each page / post.

All the pages show beautiful and large outstanding images … And in the search engine I have all that black space and white letters.

Hi, I use Gutenbooster with a child-theme (by your instructions), but I run into an issue: SVG-icons (the one GB uses) are causing the “convert this box into HTML”-error to appear wherever I want those icons to appear.

I have these boxes in buttons, in regular divs or, e.g. even with the video-play-button… wherever I use one of GB’s icons, I have to convert the box into HTML to make use of it. Also, even worse, the icons are not displayed in the frontend.

This is directly related to using a child-theme. When using GB natively, this is not an issue. Do you have an idea what I could do to fix this rather annoying error?

I really like this theme (and blocks), mostly because of the way they share the same color pallet because I like to keep my style consistent. Anyway, I demo’d it for a client but they didn’t like the large Search box. Is there anyway to override it and see the default WordPress Search box? Thank you

PS: I did try disabling the plugin Max Mega Menu but that had no affect on Search.

Where is the css for :hover in the menu in the footer? I’ve tried setting the colors in the theme customization menu but the footer menu doesn’t change away from the purple hover. I tried setting

#footer-menu li a:hover {
    color: #C08283 !important;
}

But it shows as a peach looking color. Is there an effect being put on the links in the footer somewhere that would change it from the gold color to the peach color?

Is there a way to implement a sidebar on the blog page? (like here: https://gutenbooster.com/)

I’m guessing the above example works as the homepage is set to display posts and the page layout in customiser is set to right sidebar?

I can’t find a way to have a sidebar on a page set as the posts page. Am I missing something or is this not possible yet?

I have selected the option in “menu locations” to show the mobile menu, but my menu bar is invisible on mobile devices for some reason. But if you tap in the top right corner on the header, the menu reveals itself. Isn’t there supposed to be a visible navigation bar that people can see and then tap to see the menu? The menu works alright on desktop, however.

How to get the “System Stack Font” enabled for Gutenbooster theme?
Currently, we are usng Generatepress, which has a System Stack Font dropdown in the fonts option in customizer.
