I am trying to make it so i get 6 of the service boxes on one line, instead of 4

Version 4.3.7 breaks the homepage of my child theme. Pretty much all “Guardian Options” menu items are there but they don’t do anything and the page just displays the empty “Home” webpage. I tried Version 4.2.5 and it does keep the homepage options except the “Excerpt Option” is meaningless as each blog excerpt shows the entire post. I’ve had to roll back to 4.0 to keep the home page looking like it’s supposed to. Any help would be appreciated.

Really trying to stop the floating header as i dont think it looks good. How do I do this? Really appreciate any help as this is irritating the life out of me lol.

When the logo is clicked on the left hand side of the page a blue outline appears, kindly provide a solution to this.

When we click the slider arrows on the home page, a blue outline border box appears around the shadows in the slider on both sides when using Google Chrome. I’ve found similar issues on other themes here, looks like it could be an easy enough CSS fix?

I’m using free version of Guardian template. I would like to do a few things and I hope you can help me with it.

1. I would like to delete the buttons and text from the slider, leaving it ‘blank’, just the graphics

2. I would like to change the color of the menu hover – both actually, when I move the cursour on this and when click it, same color – #ffcc99)

3. I would like to change that light gray background under the slider

4. Can I put a video (from computer / YT / Vimeo) on the slider section ?

I’m using a child theme at https://dev.burlpolon.com/, and have two questions:

1) This should be simple, but I cannot find the css anywhere that will change the color of the site title.

2) I did make the width of the logo section larger but it then pushed the menu bar down and still want to keep the menu on the same line. Is this a padding or margin issue around either the logo or menu bar?

In case anyone else has the same problem, I’d like to post this on the support forums.

Recently I migrated my site (https://saveditservices.com) from https://wordpress.saveditservices.com, and had a complete nightmare of a time trying to figure out why my SSL cert wasn’t completely working.
I noticed in the final pagecode that the ‘favicon’, slider images, and all the image references within the Guardian theme were showing the old “https://wordpress..” address rather than the new “https://saved…” one. I couldn’t fix it within the wp-admin whatsoever, so I had to manually go in to the SQL database and change the text within the field “guardian_options”.

This fixed it, and took me about six to seven hours to figure out what was causing it and where to go to fix it.

I was watching a YouTube video about the guardian theme that showed videos in the slider, I have uploaded videos and loaded them but they will not show on the website (blank slider other than the text).

Are there certain formats or lengths of videos that need to be used? (I’m using a 13s video and am about to try a shorter one, I have tried a few formats)

Or have I been mislead? It was part of my reason for deciding on guardian in the end

Is possible to remove the search box from all pages or specific pages? Sometimes this feature comprimise the layout.

Pages and posts are not formatting. Bullets do not show on unordered lists and paragraph tags are not working. I’ve attempted to edit the html on the pages to include paragraph tags , but they are being stripped out after the save. List tags are present in the code view, but not showing on the preview pages.

In an effort to troubleshoot the issue, I’ve installed a brand new WP on MY hosting account without a child theme. I’ve put up a sample page at https://www.dev.the-white-knight.com/?page_id=2

The issue is still present with this theme and only this theme. If I switch, the formatting in the pages show’s up.

How do I change the text to Footer 1? I cant find the option anywhere on my customize dashboard. All the links are even inactive. It is the portion with all the information about the guardian template:

I did the update to version 2.9 of guardian and the website since then is not visualized properly, the font is different, the menu appears different. The only way to see it as it should be is to be logged-in as wp admin. I have guardian on 4 websites, and only in the one I did the update I’m having this problem. Hi!, the issue is the folling: I need to change the “read more” text, but for now I can not do it, I tried changing the content on the php code <?php the_content(__(‘Read more…’,’weblizar’)); ?> but nothing happened, I removed the ‘weblizar’ part too and doesn’t work, also I tried directly on the tag inside the post (<!–more–>) but again nothing happened, any idea??

Hi!, I’m having problems with the snowfall function that is added by wp_footer, that issue make all the gallery plugins crash, the error message showed in the console log is like “jQuery(…)snowfall is not a function”, can any one help me?, is possible remove that function? and how?
