Currently Gridz doesn’t work with BBPress. I assume the page template is too odd for bbpress?

I use Gridz theme (version 1.0.5). In Ritch Snippets Testing Tool I have 2 errors – “Missing required field “updated” and “Missing required hCard “author”. I don’t know how to fix it without using plugins.

I use ‘GRIDZ’ theme and buddypress.
But admin bar(buddy bar?) not showing on mobile or small window size.
I think it has some CSS problem.

I’ve been playing with this theme, and although it has some good features, these items (IMHO) need to be improved (in no particular order)

1. All theme functions need to be ‘hook-able’. It is very difficult to adjust/add things with a non-hookable theme. Much more work.
2. Header image needs to be non-repeatable. Not sure of the design decision to make it repeated.
3. Header image needs to be centered.
4. Footer (copyright area) needs to be customizable with additional text.
5. Although the theme description says “tons of options to customize”, this is not true. There are only a few things that are customizable in the theme options. Anything else needs to be done via a child theme and additional CSS.

There are probably some more issues. But, although a good start, this theme is only OK if you accept the design decisions on content output. Any other customization requires digging into the theme and using a child theme. In my case, I have replaced about half of the theme functions with changes via a child theme.

I don’t know how practical this is or if anyone else would like it, but I think it would be cool if my most recent post would span all the columns and then have the rest of them tile underneath, if that makes sense.

I like this theme a lot, but I am having a problem with the tag archive. Instead of tiling, the posts are lining up on the left side of the page.

It was working but it has stopped… Now the ability to customize this theme is locked and I cannot press any buttons except close. Plus there are some save, close buttons on top that are overlapped… weird. Please help!

How i can add social profiles?

I’m experimenting with masonry-powerd themes; and Gridz is looking good.

One thing I would like is infinite scrolling on my front page – currently Gridz shows 10 posts only. I’ve installed the infinite scroll plugin, but I’m not sure how to get it to work with the Gridz front page.

Another thing: does Gridz support Masonry “brick size”? I have a post for which the brick size is set at 1×2, but it just takes up its usual 1×1 size in its column.

Ok with firefox.
Ok with Safari/mobile mode.
Ok with Safari/ipad mode

But in Safari laptop size, the accordion expand under the content.

I noticed that the theme duplicates the title in the feed via this sample of code in gridz’s functions.php:
