I built a website using the Gray Whale theme and just recently the homepage header banner I’d uploaded stopped loading. Now it’s just a large gray background area. I’ve tried uploading a new image but can’t get it to show up on the homepage (which is the only page that’s been affected).

Hi, I have Gray Whale theme and for some reason I cannot see a comments section for my blog posts, even if I have the settings > discussion checked off for “Allow people to post comments on new articles.”

I do not have any plugins related to comments. Can you help? Thank you so much.

I am trying to add sub menue to my menu. I add it under menu but they do not come our on the website. I am trying to ads a sub menu to the school staff sub menu.

I am using Gray Whale v1.06 page with sidebar page template. The problem is the sidebar appears below the main page content – not beside the content as expected. Researching this issue, I found this is typically due to an extra <div> or missing </div> somewhere before the get_sidebar call. However, I can’t seem to find how or where to fix it. Please help! I have managed to make my front page image disappear on my responsive design when viewing on android. Could this just be a delay time in WordPress? I only changed the header background code as previously suggested.

When I use my own front page image and leave the show header text box unchecked a coloured artifact remains behind. If I make the colour for the background white to match my image, the text disappears in the lower part of the static front page. Is there any way to remove this square artifact? https://www.perfecttiming.ca

In article, blog etc the check box of page work fine…in video page not.

The problem:
I’ve many posts (about 150) in a “BLOG” category.
This list of posts was on a page “BLOG” but isn’t easy to scroll the entire list of posts (limited by the wp reading setting).
So, I need to split the page to contain a “group” of post i.e 10 posts / page.
How can I do it ?

I’ve just noticed that the large splash image on the main page of my blog has resized for some reason. Instead of beeing sized to take up the full display, it seems to have sized down to half size all of a sudden – has anyone else experienced something similar?

We have had no problems with this theme until today.

We have updated the theme (from 1.04 to 1.05)and added a further two photographs to our gallery and have now found when we go to the mobile site (on all devices and networks) the menu now won’t come up when you click on it anymore. Any advice greatly appreciated.

First, thank you very much for your great theme. I would like to know how to deactivate the “stickiness” of the main horizontal menu bar: I do not want it to follow the user when he scrolls down!

I tried a couple tweeks in the css file without any good result.

Any ideas?

I have two problems with the blog excerpts shown on my main page:

1. The “[…]” link at the end of the excerpts do not work.

2. I cannot change the color of the title of the excerpt so that users know they can click on it to read more.

Where is the size for the main large image, for the index? I adjusted the image size however still stuck with a grey background, i need to bring up navigation and have searched through your files. Can you help?
