Hi there – I’m trying to update:
1. GlossyStylo to newest theme version
2. WordPress from 3.7.1 to 3.8
3. Plugins

Can’t update anything – keep getting error messages. Is this a theme error or an error in WordPress? My client is getting anxious about this, and I don’t know what to do about it.

Just updated WordPress and the Glossy Stylo theme and spent almost an entire day trying to recreate lost settings. One bug I can’t seem to fix: an empty white bar at the bottom of the pages when comments are not enabled:

For pages on which comments are enabled, it just shows comments. But when comment option is unchecked, I just get this white bar I can’t get rid of.

I am sure there is something I need to delete in Editor->Comments.php, but I’m not sure exactly what. Please help!

I am trying to disply an ad in my side bar, howerver can not find a widgit that work with Glossy Stylo theme?
Can somebody assit please?

this theme is awsome, but comment part has bugs.

1、some text color is white, the same as background.

I’m trying to make a few ajustments to Glossy Stylo, but I can’t seem to get the child theme to work. Whatever styles I apply in the new style sheet (in the child directory).

The child style.css looks like this:

The Title Page Font is to large. Is there a way for me to reduce it?

how to remove widgets on Glossy Stylo

I tried to change a template setting whilst using this theme and now my site won’t work at all. Please help! These are the messages that appeared in Apache’s “error.log” at the time:

I was running Glossy Stylo 1.1.8 and things were fine; upgraded to 1.1.11 and the following happened;

1. The TagLine (which I have a break character in) ignored the break and went full width (thus messing up my background) Maybe the DIV for description got changed?

2. The blockquotes went from having oversize quote marks to having a line down the left.

3. The background color of the blockquotes seems to default back to the regular background color – previously they were lighter and stood out more.

First, I noticed that text in a “Page” does not automatically re-size to fit into the theme’s main menu section. How can I address this? I attempted to create tables to fit my text into, however for some reason, this theme’s configurations do not allow me to adjust table width, colors or border attributes. This issue requires immediate assistance, I hope that you can help me. I love this theme, but need to figure out a ways to customize my tables and an easy solution to make all texts fit into the main menu sections of the theme – otherwise text “spills” out and looks very sloppy.

I’m using GS for a while but needed to make my blog multisite. After that, the GS theme doesn’t work properly: I had first to refresh all links to image, also through included plug-ins (Theme logo, and Background). Second, I can’t modify anything in the widget management page (no addition or substraction of widget)… Is there someone to help with this, as I need to get back my site and to add others quickly.

I like that there is one glossy box for each post on the startpage.
How do I realize this for archive sites?

At the moment all posts on an archive site are listed in one big box… meaning if I click on a special tag, all tag posts are shown in one big glossy box and not so nice as on the startpage.

How to I change the percentage of translucency on this theme. With many custom backgrounds that involve contrast, I find it difficult to focus on the post content. Is there a way to darken or decrease the amount of translucency for the content area?

This is a new install of WordPress and Glossy Stylo was the only theme I have installed, other than the defaults that come with it.

When I try adding a new post or page, the bottom of the page is screwed up. I can’t uncheck for comments, the editor is messed up. I’m assuming this theme did this because my 3.4 upgrades on other sites haven’t done this.

I am using the most up to date version of Internet Explorer.

I like the look of this theme and will be upset if I have to abandon it because it has messed up the most important part of the whole website.
