I recently tried this theme for my blog, but am wondering how can I change the Footer section of the theme (image attached below for reference):

Please advise on how can I edit the Footer shown above?

I am unable to find the theme file to edit the back-end code?

Unfortunately, Category Thumbnails does not work.
In many themes I use the following, but it has no effect in Garfunkel:

it seems like this theme supports jet pack and also the endless scroll feature of jet pack, but for some reason the images are not loaded. Does anybody know a solution ?

When I update my site to PHP 8.1 the site returns a Fatal error. When I return to PHP 7.4 the error goes away. Any thoughts? Running WordPress 6.3.1. Hosting on Pantheon.

To add a link in the tagline, i used this filter:

but it is almost impossible to click on the link in every articles (the click area is probably 1 pixel wide).

How can this be fixed?

Do I need some plugings?

Hi, I have a problem with the display of the bottom of the index page when there are 20 or more posts. The final post appears on top of the previous row, the credits appear over that post, and the pagination is hidden behind the post. It’s strange because when I resize the window or refresh it goes away. I’d prefer not to add my website here if possible so I wanted to ask if there were some type of solution to this issue.

Today I found out that the featured images on a single page (like https://andersnoren.se/themes/garfunkel/the-story-of-love-locks/) are not in full resolution but only 552 pixel width (in the example from the demo: https://andersnoren.se/themes/garfunkel/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/love-locks1-552×345.jpg).
Why is this so? Was there a change in core code or in the theme?

I’m not sure if this is just me, but both on the demo site and my site, the infinite scrolling doesn’t work and instead I get the “older posts” button in the bottom left corner. I’ve tried it on a few different browsers and I get the same issue.

I’m guessing that since it’s also happening on the demo site, it’s not anything to do with my settings, but let me know if there’s something I’m missing.

I′m trying reproduce the video user case you have in your demo but I’m having some issues.

Is there any reason for the video not to appear in the home or category page?

I also can′t make it to show in the upper part of the post as you do.

I′ve looked around for similar situations but it seems everybody gets it right, what am I doing wrong?

Usually I never have problems with Anders’ themes, but this one is weird.
Neither quotes nor links on the frontpage look like they should.

Is there pagination possible at homepage when using latest posts?
I’ve been using a high number for posts to display there but now I have more and I don’t see any pagination.

I was using a child theme in order to remove the author’s tab in single page view but I don’t want to use a child theme anymore.

Is there a way to remove this tab in functions or otherwise without having a child theme?

When I upload an image and set it as a featured image it is frequently blurry.

The message is in greek but the translation is A critial Error occured to your website.

Can you please advice if this is a theme related error?

For the browser console I can see the Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 ().

Hi, I’m quite new to WP and I guess I “messed up” a setting. I wanted to change the header image. But there’s dark “film” over the image and the “hello World” posting is obscuring the image too much now. Something seems wrong. What did I do wrong?

I think it’s a very basic rookie problem, but I just can’t figure it out.

On the main page, the image in my post doesn’t display – it only shows text. I tried different things such as chooing ‘show image in top’ – but nothing works!

I have Garfunkel theme. I wish to make the thumb of each post in the index page look the same height and width (100% of the width post item) without stretching or modify the featured image on the single post section. How can I do it?

I followed your instructions for posting videos but I really can’t make it work…

When I use the video format and something like this:

there is no video displaying at homepage or single post.
And when switching to the standard post format I get the video at single post page but not at homepage….

Any clues?

When using the gallery post format it seems the featured image is ignored at homepage post listing display and instead getting a random picture for those used in the gallery. The same happens if no featured image is selected and always the same image from gallery becomes featured.

Is there a way either to have the featured image display same as other posts or being able to select which one of the gallery to show as featured?

Thank you for the great theme, it’s exactly what I was looking for and I enjoy working with it a lot.

I do have a problem concerning video posts though. The text of the post shows in different formatting on the homepage.

Some videos I embed show up in the post, some only in the editor.
