I often test and migrate to choose themes. Whenever Founder is installed but not the active Complete Theme, it keeps asking:

“Almost done! Please click here to activate the Founder theme and use the Founder Pro plugin.”

This behavior shouldn’t be happening. Once another theme is chosen, the activation request should vanish.

Was hoping you could help me find where the theme is making my main menu all caps.

I’d like to remove it and have had a crack at it myself but I can’t seem to pinpoint where it is happening.

I have a problem with the drop down main menu. Since the menu displays subcategories starting in the middle, the upper ones are cut off if there are many entries because they protrude from the display.

I would like the subcategories to be displayed as in the secondary menu template, i.e. starting from the top down and not in the middle.

As an example on my site in the main menu places>Austria. The submenus actually start with the entry “Asitz”, but due to the middle position of the submenu, the entry “Grossglockner…” is displayed first.

I hope it is understandable what I mean and thanks in advance.

Now I have a problem with the published dates of my posts / the order in which they are displayed.

By default, WordPress displays posts in descending chronological order, based on the date they were published.

I write a post every month.

Issue: In the frontend, the posts are no longer displayed in chronological order based on the date. The problem has existed since December. Since then, two posts are not in the correct order.
The order of the posts is as follows:

1 March 2022
1 February 2022
1 December 2021
2 April 2022
1 January 2022
1 November 2021`

I cannot change this, because everything is correct in the backend.
What is the cause? I have not been able to find the error so far.

I’m using WP 5.9 and the current version of Founder.

the title of the catgeory page says: “… Archive” and the URL is https://xy.de/category/name

Is it possible to change the URL to https://xy.de/CATEGORYNAME and change the title to “Category name” (without the word “Archive”)?

i noticed that youtube-videos are very small in the mobile-version. is there a way to stretch them, so that they are wider? (Like the post-pictures f.e.) I tried it with the width/height in the embed-code but that doesn’t change anything.

Or maybe genereally the whole content (text) can be wider in the mobile-version? That would be awesome. Thank you again!!

i know use the founder pro plugin. The colors in the “continue reading” button aren’t working.

I want them with a black background and white link color.

I set this in the css code:

.more-link:visited {color:#ffffff;}

.more-link:link {color:#ffffff;}

But as soon as I get in the customizer, the link-color is chaning in orange (that’s what I’ve set in the founder pro plugin for base). :/

I have just installed your Founders theme and I really like it, thank you for providing it.

There is however one thing I am struggling with. On a page that has a list of posts from a category, I want to only show a list of posts that fall into this category, with links to the full post (I’ve managed to remove the featured image and caption already). I want to now make the size of the names of the posts much smaller, so they look like one ordered list, and remove all additional things. I want it to be as simple and neat as the ‘Recent posts’ widget provided. Would this be possible to do please?

Hello,

Since the last theme update the Website does not work anymore as expected on mobile devices or small browser windows.

Before on small browser windows the logo picture is resized and the menu jumps to the upper right corner.
But since the theme update the logo picture is cut and the menu is not accessible anymore.
Any ideas?

I am using the Storefront theme. I know that under the customization menu I should be able to adjust the number of columns in my footer but the only options are too change the color of fonts and background.
Is there another way to change these? Or do I need a plugin?

since the latest WordPress update to 5.2.4 the pages on my website using MetaSlider are displayed without css. All the other pages are working just fine. Everything is up to date: Founder Pro 1.25 and MetaSlider 3.15.1., PHP 7.3Stable.

Hey guys I think there is a date/time bug in Founder. The best way I can describe it is the theme is displaying the Post_Date_GMT versus Post_Date. If I switch themes the correct date is displayed. I’ve double checked my time zone settings and it is correctly set to Los Angeles. Also can verify the displayed Universal time (UTC) and Local time are correct. I’ve also verified that the server is configured for Los Angeles (GMT-7). If I bring up a calendar widget I see posts from 6/22-6/27 but my newest post says “Published June 28, 2019”.

I dropped into the database and found the following two examples:

Incorrect
Title: 38°9’29.069″ N 109°47’37.32″ W
Post_Date: 2019-06-27 21:09:45
Post_Date_GMT: 2019-06-28 04:09:45

Correct but only because both DB dates are on the same day.
Title: 38°1’25” N 109°32’25” W
Post_Date: 2019-06-22 15:48:45
Post_Date_GMT: 2019-06-22 22:48:45

I think the problem is somewhere in content/post-meta.php but I’m just not good enough at PHP and WordPress to track down the issue. I’ve observed similar behavior in Author (can provide detailed example similar to above if needed) and Tracks.

I am currently attempting to create a landing page without navigation or logo or anything. Basically a blank, customizable page that will not look like the rest of the site, having no default navigation, etc., yet can be still created in wordpress.

I am no coder, so I am finding different templates to add to founder ftp folder online. I select the template in wordpress, yet none are working. The page either doesn’t come up once published or still has everything default.

I understand this may be past the scope of this forum, but is there a way or code template you guys offer that can be used to make a blank page possible?
