On my main page, the slider are not clickable. I have to right-click and say open on new tab to get something to happen. If I just click on the button, the linked page doesn’t launch. Help.

Hey, I need help for the slider on my website.
When I load the page, slider starts, but a big blank spaces is just underneath it. Аnd when all three photos from the slider rotate and start repeating, this blank space disappears and shrinks. How can I remove it in the first place?

since the lastest update of the theme, the breadcrumbs on the pages are kind of messed up. It looks like the style is missing. How can I fix this?

Another thing I’m trying to improve is the titles on my Woocommerce shop page. When displaying the product categories, the title of the first product is shown instead of the product category. When opening the main page of the shop, there’s also a product title istead of “Shop” or something like that. I don’t know if this can be fixed in the theme files or in the Woocommerce files. What can I try?

I use to be able to assign a link to each image I uploaded. I believe I was doing this in the media editor as shown in step 4 here https://www.templatemonster.com/help/wordpress-how-to-link-a-post-image-to-a-custom-url.html I haven’t done anything with my webpage in a few months and now this option is gone. Images that use to link to a custom URL in blog posts I previously published no longer do. Is this a theme issue or is something else wrong?

My name is Laurene and I am from France. I have installed the Fotography theme and I LOVE IT !

As I’m going through it, I have found that it is possible to remove the sidebar in the gallery and the archive pages but not in the single post page.

When I write a post, I have three options to choose from:
– model by default
– elementor canevas
– elementor full width

I have also checked under appearance / customize.

My goal is to have the single post page showing without any sidebar.
1/ When I choose “model by default”, it shows me an empty left sidebar.
2/ When I choose “elementor canevas”, it shows me a full width without the rest of my website.
3/ When I choose “elementor full width”, it shows me the post full width but without any of the post info (author, post title etc…).

Any idea on how to disable the sidebar in a single post ? Or in a way to edit the default model without making changes to the PHP and TPL files ? (I know how to do that but my choice is NOT to do it).

I have eliminated the gallery on my home page, but the underline and word “ALL” still remains. How do I get rid of that? Thank you.

The child parts of the Galleries menu is not visible when the browser window is around 1280×1024. The menu flies out to the right and you can’t see that there are sub menus. On my larger monitor, everything looks fine, and if I reduce the size of the browser window enough, the the mobile device menu (the 3 horizontal lines) kicks in. Is there a way to have the menu flyout to the left if the browser window is not large enough? Or how do I fix this? Thanks for your help

I’m trying to get a gallery template page I made to show the content area full width (similar to the homepage).

I’ve tried this but I still get a large left margin. Changing the max width doesn’t change the left margin.

I’ve tried other things that allow me to push the content area left, but then the display is wrong on tablets or phones.

Is there an easy way to do this?

1. I have the gallery showing properly on the gallery page, but it isn’t showing on the homepage. The category headings I selected are showing on the homepage, but not the images. These same categories are working on the gallery page.

2. Is there a way to add text to the gallery page by editing the page? What I have entered on the gallery page does not show once I change the template to gallery.

3. Is there a way to control what order the images are shown in the gallery? It seems to be just based off of date of post creation.

4. Is it possible to show the images in the gallery uncropped?

The top menu scrolls off the top of the screen when I scroll down.

how can I have an home page like your demo (with a large image instead of a small header)?

So – I really don’t understand how I’m supposed to have a proper full-size image. The top image on the page is properly uploaded at 1600×800, but the code insists on rendering it resized and I can’t for the life of me figure out how to over-ride this.

It’s set at “full-width” in the block editor – but all it does is stretch a (768px) resized image to fill the screen.

I hope this is clear – when I view the code I see what’s wrong, but not the “why” or “how to fix”

I got the galleries on my homepage and it shows all of the galleries (16 galleries). Is there an option to set a maximum amount (8 or something) of galleries and add a show more button? Or to just set a maximum amount to show on the homepage, but to show all on the gallery page itself.

Hi guys, since i have updated the theme to the latest version, i’m facing the following issues:
1) on the mobile devices the menu doesn’t work anymore
2) on the mobile devices the gallery section has disappeared in the home page
3) On the mobile devices the categories of the gallery are not sortable anymore
4) On the android smartphone, when the screen is horizontal, the galleries don’t appear (e.g. https://www.alessandrolorenzelli.com/site/urbanism/ )
5) On the IPad Pro the name and the category of the gallery don’t appear inside the featured image (e.g. https://www.alessandrolorenzelli.com/site/portfolio/ )

When creating a Page using the Gallery Layout template (under page attributes), the option to add various galleries to this page is no longer available.

Previously there was a Gallery settings page that would allow me to tick the galleries to be included.

The link I’ve included is the Gallery template which I need to add more galleries to.

I have an issue when the website using Fotography is displayed on a mobile device (on a computer, everything is OK).

I have two issues:
In the menu, by selecting a gallery, the picture is not fully displayed.

If I tap the photo to get it full size displayed, it’s full size, but in a stamp size.

If I tap the cross to get it as full screen display, only a part of the image is displayed.

If I try to swith to horizontal display, other issues are raised.
The hearder take more than 50% of the screen and the photo isn’t displayed, but only the film.

Hi all,

I’m preparing a new website using Fotography Theme with WordPress 4.9.8.
Setting up the test site was OK, every looked fine.
But by using the galleries, I have an error and couldn’t find a solution for it.

2 active extensions:
– AccessPress Instagram Feed
– Gutenberg

The gallery display on the frontpage is OK. If I follow the link from 1 gallery on the frontpage, it’s OK, the gallery photos are displayed.
But, If I click on one of the photo displayed here, I always get the same error :

Recoverable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in MYTESTWEBSITE/wp-content/themes/fotography/inc/extras.php on line 153

I searched on the forum, in the documentation, but couldn’t find what to do to fix that error.

Any advice ?

I′m working with Fotography free theme but in version 2.2.5 when I′m create a post with a photo format not work, (Not display anything) but if i′m select another format it works, in version 2.2.4 it works (I have a few days instalation working), its new instalation in the same server. thanks for your help

I just installed your theme and am beginning the setup, Ive created a static gallery page for the home page. I love the mosaic tiled images but they are only showing up on the left hand side, as if there is a hidden side bar or something on the right. I’ve clicked on the “without sidebar” option in the page dashboard, chosen default template and gone in to the customize appearance and disabled all the homepage options. I don’t know what’s going on and why I can’t get it to fit the entire width of the page. Your sample galleries page fits the width of the entire page, I’d like mine to do the same.

Hi, the images on my slider display is like darkened and the display is not bright like how it is supposed to as compared to the actual image.

It’s like there is a darkening filter applied for all of the images in the slider.

Kindly advice how would I be able to display the slider images like it should be.

I wanted to my slider images to be displayed without any darkening effect and I want it to have the original brightness. I want then displayed as it is.

On the line 159 of the file /inc/fotography-functions.php, the WP_Category_Checkboxes_Control class is defined without checking if the class is already defined in the child theme or not. I’m trying to override this particular class in my child theme which will obviously break the whole thing.

Would the developers be kind enough and add an if (! class_exists(...) ) before defining this class (and possibily other classes) in the future versions?

Hi, I’m having a couple of issues with the way galleries are being displayed.

When I use the Classic Layout on a mobile device in vertical orientation, the images don’t display when selected and the page freezes. I think the image is being displayed off the screen. They will only display if the device is turned horizontally.

When using the Folio Layout on any device, the image being viewed has the bottom cut off by the filmstrip at the bottom of the page when it is larger than the area about the filmstrip.

The mobile issue is a particular problem so I’d be grateful for any help with that.

Hi, I’d like to change the background color and add a texture that would be applied to all the pages on the site. I suspect I would need a transparent texture that would take the background color.
