I chose Fluid Basics because it was a “child theme of ResponsiveBlogily”, securing my bespoke design. Now there is an update of Fluid Basics (2.2). Should I have made a child theme of a child theme? And any tips on how to update Fluid Basics without losing my bespoke design?
]]>Mobile menu jumping to the right when opened, only half is visible. When I thought I had fixed it, the scroll bar had disappeared.
Found a solution. Put in your @media query:
.mobile-menu-active #page { left: -70% !important; }
#smobilemenu { height: calc(100vh - 1px); overflow: auto !important; }
I am using the theme Fluid Basics v.1.4 by ThemeEverest. As you can see in the link, the name of a page in the menu is shown again in the individual page itself. The title name for the menu and individual page are connected as permalinks and I can’t find a way to make them separate. The “HOW TO ORDER” in the menu also shows up in the page itself.
Best case scenario would be to remove the menu name in the page. The other option would be to assign the permalink to something other than the menu title.
Is there a way to resolve the repetition of the menu title appearing in the menu and the page?
I would like the text to say “FREE SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER $50.00” above my logo on all pages but it apparently won’t show site title or tagline in this theme when I am using my logo. How can I accomplish this?
]]>Hi there!
I’m having trouble getting our post photos to show the full width of the content area. Adjusting the image settings in the post editor (Image Size, Image Dimensions, centering, etc…) don’t seem to work so I assume it might be a theme issue? I have also tried adding “full-width” CSS class to the photos and that doesn’t do anything either. The photos are sized to 795px width and should be able to fill the content width. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!
