Hello,

does anybody know how I can disable that every heading is transformed to UPPERCASE in this theme?
I tried adding “text-transform: none;” in style.css for h1, h2, … but it did not help.

I also added this to style.css but it did not help:

h1, h2, h3, h4, h5 {
text-transform: none !important;
}

How can I add links to the Services section? We want to use this bloc on the front page of the site, and link each of the four areas to a certain page on the site. We can link the FA icon and the section test, if that’s easier than adding a “more” link at the bottom of the description text. I know HTML, but I’m customizing this site for someone who is not HTML-savvy, and I want them to have the ability to make changes later on, if they so choose.

This is a self-hosted site, on BlueHost. We are using the free version of this template. Thus far all of the customization has been done using the WP control/admin panel.

Hello everyone:
I have a client who has chosen the Firmness Pro theme for her new site. She has asked me if we can embed some videos in a section on the new home page. For the life of me I cannot figure out a way to make this work.

Can any of you offer some suggestions, recommendations, workarounds etc. to help make this work?

When the Firmness theme was updated to 1.0.5.2, something happened to the Owl Carousel. My client instead of investigating, installed the Owl Carousel plugin and it is now rotating just fine, but the navigation is all messed up. I temporarily did an override of the CSS for the prev and next arrows to increase the font size and float them left and right, but I’d like for the navigation to function as it did originally.

Any ideas what’s going on?

i updated the theme and the service section image size and layout changes to make the image smaller and it looks bad – any help on getting it back the way it was… Updated theme yesterday

Can someone tell me how to remove the box under the main menu? It says Home/CurrentPageTitle . It is on every page except the Home Page.

How can I change the size of the logo on my website on mobile please? It is fine on desktop but is tiny on mobile.

I’ve looked in the css (I’m a novice at this)! Do I need to change the below? If so what do I change?

I have updated to the latest version of Firmness and the layout of the Services Section has changed. The image displays much smaller leaving an ugly gap between the left text and the image. Aesthetically it is unbalanced and much less pleasing.

Also the text in the columns runs across the gutter making it hard to read.

Is there a way to change this? If I were to upgrade to the premium version of the theme would I still face these problems?

Is it possible to have both a logo and a site title in the header? As far as I can see only one of these can be shown, not both at the same time.
For example: A bitmap logo to the left and the site title using letters on its right site. For SEO purposes.

Hi, I really like the Firmness theme. Still learning about it, but is there any way to make the pages full width?

When I embed youtube videos in my site the appear the whole width of the page with broad black bars. How do I remove them?

I have set up the slider on my homepage and specified that the slider display only three posts with the category of Slideshow, but it still will try to display other posts that aren’t under the category Slideshow.

How do I make the titles in the service section link to pages?

The theme requires the settings to be “post to front page” in order for the home page to show up. I would like the posts to show on page titled blog instead. How can I do this?

Is it possible to remove or edit the horizontal line under the title in the About section?

Hi I have set up a front page with an image slider. It works perfectly, thanks for your instructions!

However, I would like this page to appear in the menu as HOME so that users can navigate back to it. At the moment it is just a landing page.

What have I done wrong?

I just recently enabled the WooCommerce plugin on this site, and now when I add products to a page, it automatically changes the text color in the footer to black instead of white. All the other pages stay white.

Tuesday I discovered that a the links in WordPress were broken because of the installation of a SSL certificat (http instead of https). So I exported the WP DB mass replaced http in https, deleted the current tables and imported the edited export. So far so good but…

Checking my website made me cry out loud. All Firmness settings were gone and it showed the basic setup! Can’t imagine why the settings were reset as I only changed the “http” text. Is there some reference to http and this is broken when changed into https?

So please… please tell me how to fix this?

I’m new to wordpress, using the Firmness theme and have problems with using that Slider. I selected a cetegory of images for the slider and in the preview it shows that properly, but when I click “Svae and publicize” somwthing goes wrong and the slider disappears. There is only a white space instead of the slider.. the same happens with the “Lastest news”. What should I do ? Thank for all the responses

I am trying to change the “read more” button near the bottom of the homepage in the services section.

I noted using inspect element that it is the services section of the content boxes but I am not sure how to update it permanently to say “Register Now!”.

I still have lots to learn. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My query is….

Do I have to use the icon sets default to this theme?

I would like to change the icons in most section of this theme as they do not work with the over all design of the site.
I cant find any option but a blank space under the fontawesome link and the add image option is’nt working.

I have an issue in that there is a white space appearing below the slider on mobile devices (works fine on PCs) I’m sure this is normally reserved for the use of captions however I am not using them. I’ve worked through the CSS however I can’t seem to spot the code.

Upgrading Firmness to the latest version destroys the site entirely. The options and tweaks, including even address information, layout, colours, menu’s and headers, are not migrated.

Unfortunately, this makes the theme useless, because an entire rebuild of the site is required after upgrading. And that is a serious waste of resources. I strongly recommend not upgrading until this serious error is fixed OR to switch to another theme, since the amount of time required to set that up equals (or is less) than the damage control required after an upgrade of this theme.

For what it’s worth, I upgraded other themes that could handle modifications without any problems. One asks oneself why Firmness can’t. Maybe that can be fixed?

Is there a way to change the height of the image slider?
