Removing 'archives'

Hi everyone,

I am using this theme since a few days, and I am trying to remove the ‘archives’ widget which is automatically shown. I have already found out how to remove the other widgets, but archives is not shown in the list of the sidebars. Does anyone know how to do this? ??

Custom Colors Not Rendering (Hosted)

Hi! I’m working with this theme as hosted by a university, and I’m having trouble getting my custom colors to render. The background color works, but the text color and header/sidebar background colors don’t seem to apply. I’d go into the code to try to work it out for myself, but I can’t figure out how to do that in the hosted version (if it’s even possible). My coding skills are minimal, but I’m familiar with the basics of CSS and HTML. I’d really prefer not to have to pay for custom work from the blog support here. Hi, I found that if I select ‘full width page’ from the WordPress template options for any given page, nothing renders. I was expecting to have a full width page (no sidebar) but nothing rendered at all; I just see the site header and background.
Any suggestions?

Hi, I want the site header to be smaller than the theme dictates. I want it to be 100% of the width but only 144px tall. I can do that by using

\.site-header{height:144px;}\ but then it loses its responsiveness.

How can I have a smaller header on the desktop size and make it downsize properly for mobile?
