Hello,

I’m looking for help with removing the primary menu from my site. I have a top menu I want to keep, and previously I went into the Appearance – Customize section and removed the primary menu and it was exactly what I wanted. In the settings currently the primary menu has been removed. However, sort of out of nowhere one is now showing up on the site as “Menu” (see link here: https://sites.northwestern.edu/evostudy/). I must have changed the settings somehow but I don’t understand how…does anyone know how to remove it from the entire site using CSS code? I played around a bit but couldn’t come up with the answer.

I bought this theme four years ago. And now I regret it deeply. It is not compatible with WP 5.5 and higher. Support doesn’t reply at questions. And it isn’t updated for two years now.

So don’t waste your money and time at this theme!

I find the overview page with blogs too clumsy. How can I adjust this? For example, make the photos smaller and add the publication date.

How can I change my site so that people who view it on a mobile phone get to see the desktop version rather than the mobile version? The site works well on a mobile in both modes but the desktop one looks so much better. Mobile phones automatically show the mobile view, people can change it to the desktop view if they like but first impressions count and I would like them to only be able to see my site in desktop mode. How can I do this? Please can you help. Thank you.

In the past I have changed the color of the hyperlinks on my website. I’m not convenient with it and want to change it to another color.

But I really don’t have any idea where I’ve changed it. I thought the style.css, but I can’t find it over there.

I’m using Fifteen Plus theme.

After the WP update to 4.9 I thought it couldn′t harm to try the Fifteen theme update from 1.0.0.8 to the new available 2.1.4 …. well, a big surprise was waiting for me. Thanks god I did a complete backup and tried the update with a child theme I created for such operations. The complete layout was destroyed, the menue was missing, font styles and sizes were different etc. – what a disaster ??

Has anyone tried this theme update, receiving similar results ?

I am having an issue with a specific blog post that is not showing as mobile friendly.
I believe it has to do with some insets I have in my post, but would have no idea how to change the coding to correct. Can someone please take a look and advise. Thanks;

I have some difficulties with the Fifteen Theme I installed yesterday.
I create two menus :
– one on the top,
– an other in the center.

The item of each menu doesn’t open. I create all pages and indicate the URL link for each item and sub-item.

Moreover, the sub-item of menu in the center open on the right and not below. And the background color is dark.
Does it possible to change this in the CSS Code as the green line color in the item of each article?
I never use the CSS Code, but I think I could change it if someone give me the good way to follow up.

Hi there, I′m a newbie just starting to work with WordPress so please forgive when this question is kind of stupid but I searched the www for days without finding an answer. I would like to remove the “Archive” and “Meta” sections inside all posts as well as the shown date and the author so it will work like a kind of static page. I hope someone can help me out (in Fifteen with a child theme, WP version 4.1.1).
In the posts i like to embedd a video-clip which pops up behind a picture (DSCN1255-Lens-intro2-1000.jpg) i put in the post. The videoclip is on Vimeo (password: intro-ftm).
I know how to put the link in it. No problem ?? .
Like this:

– Alas I’m still working on a local server so the site is not on line.
How can I arrange it so that the video is only displayed in the picure window?

i have downloaded this Theme “Fifteen” and have seen the demoversion, which is really amazing.

I wanted to create an entry with submenu like in the demoversion at “home” – “level 1” and “Level 1a”

but i dont know how to do that.

I have made the structure in the menu, which should show my subs, but it only shows the main Links.

What can i do ?

I use the fifteen recent post-widget at my sidebar. There are now the six recent posts listed. Is there a possibility to hide the post, which is currently open? I think i have to change widgets.php, but where can I set these option? Thank your for your answers,

Hi, I am using a child theme of fifteen and configured the plugin Tribe Events Calendar. It uses fifteen standard template for all kinds of display. I didn’t like that the nice title bar doesn’t display title with events. So I added this code to page.php

It does work fine with posts (displaying the_title()) and Tribes Events Calendar displaying “Events”.
It also works with all pages using “page-full-width.php” template. But it fails with pages using “standard” template. This template behaves with pages as “!= ‘page'” putting “events” in the title bar but displays page title somewhere unformatted out of any context.
Why does standard template altered with this code above doesn’t display pages properly?
Tried a lot to figure it out but without success.
Help would be much appreciated, thank you very much.

I’m not a programmer, just a designer with some html/css skills.
I’m trying to edit the way the toggled menu looks, specially because the way I have it now it not only looks horrible (and unreadable) on a mobile device, but it also doesn’t work.
So I want to remove most of the stuff I added for the desktop menu, and have a plain and simple version of the menu when toggled.
But every time I try to do something, it applies it to the un-toggled version as well.

Any suggestions where I can edit this and have a separate result for the toggled menu?

I use this theme as a portfolio for my services as photographer.
Now I would like to add a real “blog” to it.
But since this theme uses the blog posts as portfolio I was thinking how to make this possible.
I thought maybe I can hide one category from the homepage and in the side bars manually make links to my blog posts.

Is this possible and how? ??
Or would another way be better? Love to hear it!
Would be great to have a Blog page where you can find all the articles with the category “blog” as well.

The menu disappears when switching to mobile and back to browser size.

– Make the windows’ width smaller until the theme switches to mobile mode
– Open the menu
– Close the menu
– Make the windows’ width bigger until the theme switches to browser mode

Tested with: WP Latest, Plugin Latest, FF Latest, Chrome Latest

To use this site for artists does anyone know when you add an image to the post as a feature image and then you click on “Read More” and it brings you to the post page, you can add that same image within the post text box (yet the image is so small to impress anyone in my opinion), but if you link it to its own URL, you can click on it and you will get a larger version of it. Ok but will any visitors bother to click that many times to see a beautiful piece of your work? Also there are plugins that protect artist’s copyright work but you are able to right click this image and save it even with the plugin I installed. I am going to watermark all my work but is there a way
1) to enlarge your images within the text area of a post without them getting blurred and to eliminate so many clicks to the final enlargement
2) is there a way to protect your work, such as a plugin that is compatible with this theme?
