Please can you fix and update theme? “Read more” button doesn’t work on homepage slider. It doesn’t work on demo and it doesn’t work on my site either.

I’m trying to figure out how to fix the image caption (on the thumbnail size images) running vertically. I need the captions to display below the images normally and line break (wrap around) with the width of the images.

I just purchased this theme/Felt, I really like the structure it provides. But I have two details that I cannot find ways to fix.
First, the feature image on each post does not show the caption for it. Is there a way to make it appear right underneath the featured image by default? There seems to be no way to include it for some reason..
Another detail that I’m trying to change is on the Homepage, there’s this unique thing that this theme does when the visitor hover on top of post images – it dims the image and the first character on the page appears as an initial. Does anyone know a way to disable this?

I was just wondering if I can change colours in the free version of this theme?

In particular I would like to change the background colour of the header and if possible I’d also like to change the colour of the displayed post meta data.

Although first i have a couple of questions:
Is it possible to include a featured article?
Also, is it possible to have a menu that is visible on the homepage?

I have a fresh and newly minted wordpress install. I download this theme and upload to the site via the zip theme install and then when I activate it or try to preview it the whole site/wordpress sadmin goes blank and no dice untill I remove from the server and then reload and active another theme. I have no idea whats wrong or if plugins are needed etc but it mentions nothing about that as far as I can tell. Help!
