I hope all is well and happy new year! I am just getting started with my blog and I am not a web building or CSS expert, but I am trying.

I would like to change two things on the home page but I am having trouble – any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

First, I would like to shorten the height of the “header image.” I tried to add some custom CSS but it did not work (I’m probably not doing it right?). I added: img{height: 500px;}.

Second, I would like to increase the size of the text for the “site title” and “tagline.” I also tried to add some custom CSS but it did not work for me. I added: #site-identity {font-size-adjust: 60px;}.

Under customize, site identity, the flex container that holds the “title and tagline” will not disappear when unchecked (hidden). The little 25×25 placeholder is VISIBLE and covering all header images uploaded to the “randomize uploaded headers” section with a little square box. When clicked the description is “div.siteidentity | 25×25 | “flex container/item” How do I get this to disappear?

On Firefox, Mac

I noticed in the font files that there was not mail icon for mailto: links added to the social links menu. Will a mail icon be added in the future?

Anyone know how to remove the left column in this theme? Ive been through the settings but cant find it

I really apreciate the Fell Theme and want to use it.
My Problem is that Text and Content of Sites and Articles/Topics are shown in 100% width of Screen. I want to show it with an desired width in Pixel or %.
I have tried everything and searched in Source Code of the Theme and CSS files and changed everything which looks like responsible for this. But found nothing.
Please can anyone help me with this?

Can u please provide a code so for the scrolling logo and site tittle like that in affinity theme. So that i can add it through code snippets. And it will look great.

Is there a way to remove or relocate the transparent box in the middle of the home page theme. this is infront of the main picture.

Hi, I am using this as a landing page at the moment. How do I remove the search box and the text of “It seems like we can’t find what you’re looking for…” from the homepage? Thank you.

Using Max Mega Menu with Fell Theme and despite changing the mobile toggle width to 992px, Fell theme still displays the toggle check box. Used the menu author’s code as per https://www.megamenu.com/documentation/directory-starter/ – didn’t fix the problem.

Changed the theme to TwentySeventeen – and the problem disappeared – so it’s theme related, but cannot figure out what more to alter to remove the toggle check box from displaying on a desktop view.

Wish I could contact the theme developers for a number of questions, as there doesn’t appear to be any theme documentation for Fell.

My desktop monitor is 1366 x 768.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Want to fully customize Fell theme to our branding needs and have been customizing Fell via the traditional child theme creation method with child theme css – however there are elements of the parent theme for which the child theme css doesn’t override.

Any thoughts on this situation?

Hi! I’m hoping to do some custom CSS to allow

header-nav
to float in a fixed position as the user scrolls. That way the navigation is always available regardless of where you are on the page.

I tried

header-nav {
	position: fixed;
}

and a few other combinations, but I was unsuccessful. Any suggestions?

I am trying to change the header image and there is only an option to save draft in the customizer. There is no option to publish changes. It is the first time I have ever seen the customizer not have a publish button. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
