I guess this theme has lost any and all future updating. I went to get this theme for a client who uses it on an older WP site, hosted by WP (Which makes you pay, but limits your options? ROFL WTF!) for a newer WP located elsewhere. But once I enabled this theme, it broke the entire WP site forcing me to uninstall WP and reinstall it since every single page was blank. Seems this is not a new issue either. NEXT!
]]>The maps I created using Google Maps Easy plugin have disappeared since my host upgraded to WordPress 4.5
I reported this to Google Maps Easy developer and they told me that this is a problem with my theme — Eventbrite Single. This is what they said:
The problem is in this file – https://southbayliteracy.org/wp-content/themes/eventbrite-event/js/script.js
You can check the error in console of your browser – https://prntscr.com/asgkqu Contact you theme developers. They should fix the problem. Or you can try to fix the problem yourself – in this file – https://southbayliteracy.org/wp-content/themes/eventbrite-event/js/script.js – you need to replace the code – a[href=#] with this – a[href=”#”]
Are you going to fix this? When?
Please see southbayliteracy.org There is supposed to be a map on bottom of the home page.

I was also wondering how you get the List/Calendar widget?
]]>We have found that multiple calls to the Eventbrite api have since been deprecated causing such items as Logo/Event Thumbnail and Price to not display correctly.
Additionally, it would be nice if the theme were updated to be Child theme friendly. We have found temporary work arounds in hopes there will be an update to the theme in the future.
Great theme out of the box. Thank you for all the hard work.
]]>Hello,
I use the Eventbrite Venue theme, which must be mobile responsive. On my mobile devices, there is a button in the right-top corner, which is the menu button. The problem is that when I press that button, nothing happens…
Do anyone know how I can set a menu to that button?
Regards,
Jan
I keep getting a fatal error whenever I try to install this theme.
It ceases up my whole computer.

]]>Built in wordpress search does not perform a search on events that have been synced – is there any work around for this? I can’t tell if eventbrite events are being loaded as custom post types or if something else is happening. But, since our site is really just an events listing site, we need the search to index our events. Check it out here: https://improvfest.nyc
]]>I’ve tried several times to install this theme and as soon as I click activate I get this error message “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘:’ in /home/content/74/3910174/html/pierce/wp-content/themes/eventbrite-venue/inc/eventbrite.php on line 96”
Thus, locking up my entire site that I’m trying to work on. Can anyone help? Let me know. Thanks.
]]>Hi there –
When trying to connect to Eventbrite using the Eventbrite Services plugin, I’m getting an error message from Eventbrite that says “The application you’re trying to use has made an invalid request to Eventbrite. Please contact the application developer.”
Any ideas what might be going on? I’ve got v1.1.3 of the plugin installed and activated.
Thanks for your help!
