Is it possible to fade out the menu icon in mobile view?

Something like:

window.addEventListener('scroll', (event) => {

    document.getElementById('mobile-site-navigation'').style.display = 'none';
  }

We are using Ephemeris with a child theme for our page and are very happy with it. Only the menu icon in mobile view is in the way when reading the articles.

Can you help with a question about the location of my site logo? It’s awkwardly sitting on the line below the nav menu leaving an ocean of white space.

I would ideally like the logo to appear on the same level as the menu, like this version which I’ve mocked up:

I’ve tried using different shapes for the logo but it always sits a line below where I want it to be. When you click on the logo you can see it’s contained within a tall rectangular box. It’s this that needs to be changed, but how?

Can you suggest any fix for this, possibly using Additional CSS?

If I change the theme to default 2022 or 2023 I see the captcha badge at bottom right. But not when using Ephemeris

I tried to build a new page with a gallery including foobox and in the draft it did what I wanted with Gutenberg in three or four column as many times before. When published now it only shows one column as the page mentioned above. I work with a child-theme of ephemeris. WP and the theme were updated a few days before. Could it be a problem of one of the css-files?

i want to display a logo and also site title und subtitle of my webpage, the text unfortunately disappears, if the logo is loaded up…

down here i found a php-script, you’ve made for another guy, but i am too stupid to apply this to my problem ??

may you’ll have an idea, please?

alternativly i will be fine with title and subtitle with the header image inline, not underneath.

Hope you are well. Just saw an announcement about WP 6 coming out this month and is in RC1 stage.

How do we stand with the Ephemeris theme? Can we just upgrade to WP6 when it is out of do you have further tests to do?

Hi

I want to use featured images, but when I set a featured image it is huge (full width) in the post. Is there any way I can reduce the size? I am confused by the threads I have seen, which all seem to say the featured image should use the thumbnail size.

There doesn’t appear to be a size setting in Ephemeris, any help would be appreciated.

Is there any way to allow the top menu to use the full width of the page? At the moment, if the menu reaches the right sidebar it wraps onto a second line. The current menu has been limited to prevent this happening, bu we many want to add more items in the future and it would be good not to have it wrapping.

3. Is it possible to have an button on mobile layout to “show fullsite” or to force to show fullsite on mobile device totally?

I am developing a site using Ephemeris and am very pleased with the theme. However, images that I place into a page do not appear when viewed on a mobile. I have tried both Chrome and Ecosia.

On the page supplied,there should be an image of a squirrel. It shows fine on a tablet but not a phone.

I’m sure I must have done something wrong but have no idea what.

The site I am developing has a static front page and I intend to have a menu option pointing at the Blog page. At the moment, the Blog page displays the full posts and I would really like it to just display a brief summary of each, with a ‘Read More’ option. I can’t find how to do this in Ephemeris, can somebody advise please?

I am developing a website with the Epheremis theme. The colour scheme is a shade of green and I would like to change the hover colour of the menu to a complementary colour but there is no way to do it in customisation.

Can somebody please explain to me what CSS I need to add in the additional CSS box to change the hover colour?

Hello everybody, I think I met a problem which is caused by a lack of knowledge of how wp works. Start my static page, follow my main menue, click “Stadterneuerung” (a static page). Then you will see on the right side my menue “Stra?en” build out of categories. Choose “Cappelstra?e” and the category-template will show all posts of this category. You will notice a white field on the upper right side, where a widget shoud open the same menue, you have seen before on the static page “Stadterneuerung”. I don’t find any possibility to add the widget to the upper level-category “Strassen” itself.
It’s quite funny that you can click on “no comment” and the right view (the post) will open.
In each post I inserted the right widget with the menue as a single-post-sidebar with the help of the plugin “custom sidebar”. Should it be a blog-sidebar?
The problem is, that I want to have different sidebars which show up relating to different subjects for example “streets”, “bike lanes”,”monuments”…
Do you have any proposals for me, where to look after, where the fault can be?

I am a newbie to www.remarpro.com and have recently set up a site (www.setyourownscene.com) using the Ephemeris theme.

I have written a strapline for my site which is displayed when I have tried out other themes but for some reason it is now showing on Ephemeris. How can I enable this please? Ideally I would like the strapline to display in smaller font underneath, or next to my site name ‘Set Your Own Scene’?

I am new to using WordPress so please go easy with me on any coding language! ??

Hello! After updating to WordPress 5.5 a youtube video stopped playing on my site. Debugging leads me to believe its an issue with your theme as the video works fine if I change themes. The error is:

Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/id. (Reason: CORS request did not succeed).

Any help in getting this fixed would be much appreciated, thank you.

Does Ephemeris support drop down menus?

Is there a way to hide Post Meta data (ie Date, Author, Category Comments, etc)?

I’m having issues with text being displayed in an odd way on smaller mobile devices – on certain lines words are being split up across two lines and hyphenated which just doesn’t look good. It doesn’t happen on every line, but it is happening on paragraph, list, media and header blocks at least. It happens on both pages and posts.

Could the theme owner please look into this? I don’t really want to be adjusting the code myself as this seems like something that any user of the theme will be suffering with, but I will if I absolutely have to! I have screenshots of the issue occurring.

Issue seen on iPhone SE and iPad mini in both portrait and landscape modes. Issue not seen on desktop Microsoft Edge or Firefox.

I’m trying to modify the header for small logo and a large menu while also increasing the max width.
I change .site-header div’s to grid-25 and grid-75 in the functions.php
changed max-width in customizor
line 1300 in unsematic.css is supposedly setting the width of nav but it’s a %
somethings keeping the nav from using the full size?
I can’t find what’s limiting the width.
where can I find out more about this grid system and the correct way to change the themes width?

First, thank you for another great theme.

I tried moving the header.php, page.php into the child theme and that immediately broke
the menu and some of the formatting. I was curious what needs to be done to do so?

I’d appreciate a few hints to get me started.

I tried to use the read-more tag on my welcome-page (WP 5.3). The tag is – after the change to Gutenberg – hard to find either in the classic-toolbox or in the new one hidden somewhere. I placed it in a separate box but after saving the changes, I only could see the code when I swapped to the html-view but nothing happend.
Do you have any ideas what went wrong?

I’m having problems with eliminating the default header (with menu) and footer and using Mega Menu for the navigational menu. My menu is linked to many pages (and subpages) and the default menu doesn’t fit right for my requirements. The Page Attribute Template is set to Default template.

I’ve tried to disable the Default header and footer, but when I do this I get text at the top and bottom of every page on my website – [elementor-template id “***”]
– it is a Static Page site NOT a Blog.
If I try to change the Page template I get varying results :-
DEFAULT TEMPLATE or FULL-WIDTH PAGE – Elementor text at page top & bottom.
ELEMENTOR CANVAS or PAGE BUILDER BLANK – no Elementor text but I have 2 scroll bars on the r/h side of page.
ELEMENTOR FULL WIDTH or PAGE BUILDER FULL WIDTH – Elementor text AND 2 scroll bars.

I’m at a loss as to what to try next so would appreciate any help.
I’m a “newbie” to WordPress and finding it a bit of a challenge, but enjoying the experience.

I was wondering if anyone could help me find a way to hide the header image on all my pages and posts except on my homepage. When it is displayed on my posts I feel like it just takes up more space than is actually needed. I am using the Ephemeris theme and I make my pages and posts using Elementor. My website is Whatsabitcoin.org .Any help is greatly appreciated.

How do I get the image and text under it to center on all of my pages.

I understand the footer widgets are supposed to be dynamic — if you only use one footer widget, its contents should be center justified on the webpage regardless of the layout (single or multiple columns).
When I have one footer widget, defined in footer widget #1, and it is the only footer widget, I find that the widget contents appears left justified on the webpage.
I want it to be center justified.
How do I overcome this?

Can I ask about the main menu on a desktop browser?

For example:

I have a big screen but the whole screen is taken up by the header etc and I have to scroll down to the actual page.

On devices it uses the menu in a widget.

Do you have any thoughts about this? I am thinking a widget instead of the menus at the top?
