Since the update to WP 5.5(.1) wordpress was not working correct. In “Console” there are an TypeError in a Javascript library of the theme.

Are there any plans to fixup this errors? Or are there any workarounds?

I recently switched from theme twentyten to enlightenment, but now facing the problem how to modify the header for an internal section.
With twentyten it was enough to simply call the alternate image instead of <?php header_image(); ?> and manually extend the wp_nav_menu Parameters with the ID of the private menu instead of the public one…

But with enlightement, it seems I need to modify the custom functions of theme enlightenment, enlightenment_header(), but where do I find it, or is there a better way?

Slider will not work.

I have used this theme on 4 different sites, but on this particular site, the “custom Query” function will not save in the Appearance > Widget section. More than happy to pay for someones time if they can help me fix this?

When I loaded this theme last week, the custom layout option graphics (under the Use Default Layout option button) showed the layouts (with 1 or 2 or 0 sidebars) and you could select them with a large box around them. The graphics have disappeared (you can still select the space and they work).

I guess this is know issue as I notice that some of the screenshots in the developer’s demo tutorial show the same issue (he as selected blank space number 3).
Any idea as to why or what to do to fix it – being new to the them I don’t remember which one is which.

Search icon is not getting displayed in the Navbar. The functioning is ok but the icon is not displayed nor in black background and neither in dark background.

I have been working on my home page https://www.christinamlee.com and so far it’s going well. I can work on it on my mac and macbook air, see the content, but when I pull it up on my iPhone or iPad the home page says there is no content error 404. I can see my copy on the other pages (services, about) What’s going on?

Since you have bundled menu icons into your theme, in replacing the Nav Menu admin Walker, you’ve effectively disabled any other plugin that interacts with the admin menus… such as Nav Menu Roles.

Please consider adding the following action hook:

do_action( 'wp_nav_menu_item_custom_fields', $item_id, $item, $depth, $args );

to your Walker (I usually recommend right below the description input) so that Nav Menu Roles (and a handful of other menu-specific plugins) can coexist with your theme.

But am not seeing the actual pages what I have seen in the theme screenshots. It still shows the default blog pages and the blog page layout. How to get the actual theme viewin my website?

I have a problem with the sub-menu items.

I have set the menu to work correctly, but I need two menu items, which I am forced to have as primary menu items, to be under a primary menu item.

I have TRIED using this theme but I’m getting errors, but no support.

The default page function does not work and you cannot change page type when creating pages.

I have posted directly to onedesigns.com (Enlightenment theme web site) to no avail.

How can I translate this theme?

I haven’t seen any updates to the theme, forums or Facebook-page since summer 2015. I though Enlightenment was the best free theme I’d ever used.

First of all, great theme!

I followed the directions on the documentation to recreate the sample homepage, which has all the sections and custom queries shown in the theme demo. The tutorial is great, but it leaves out one important element that, even after doing some research of my own, have yet to find an answer for.

In the demo, some sections have a background image, and I would love any help on figuring out how to include a custom background or image for each of the homepage sections, since that is one of the reasons why I chose this theme in the first place.

Any little help or hint is appreciated!

The header Image does not display even though it is set in the in the customizer for the enlightenment theme, Please Fix this.

I want to hide parent page (labels) which is reappearing.

I have added category ID (I’m assuming this is the name of the category – if not please advise what is the category ID) to filter my posts by the category. I receive the following message:
“Sorry, no posts matched your criteria”.

However, I know there are 8 posts that meet this criteria.

Please can someone help. When I posted this question on the I-Excel Next Template toolkit 2 days ago my question was deleted with no response provided. I’m a novice at WordPress and do not where else I can go to get an answer to my question.

I am very fascinated by the theme enlightenment as seeing it at the themes demo page. So I downloaded and activated the theme at my homepage. But when I started using enlightenment I have problem by creating pages. I couldn’t find any template selection at the backend. After renewing my database, reinstalling wordpress and reinstalling enlightenment I’ve the same probleme as before. What I am doing wrong? Is there a plugin I have to install?

So Far I can’t get a header image to show. let alone a carosel

This is a truly beautiful theme. But I don’t think my 8 years running WordPress is going to be enough to understand how to customize it which is unfortunate cuz I really like the theme.

Hi, I can’t understand how to use BLOG the templates in Enlightenment theme.
I see in the demo that you show the blog in 2,3,4, FULL but I don’t uderstand how to switch from one to the other.
In other themes when I build a page I have the option to choose what template to use but not on Enlightenment.

I’m absolutely impressed with the enlightenment theme. So happy that I found it. You made an amazing job.
I want to use this theme as onepage solution. So I set the page up like described in the documentation “Deconstructing the Theme Demo Home Page”. Everything works fine.
Because I do not need any other sites, I want to use anchors to link to the several areas of the onepage. I know how to use anchors, but I don’t now how this works with the sidebars. Is this possible to realize this in any way?
I would be happy, if someone could help me, to solve this problem.

First I would like to say that the Enlightenment theme has been one of the best themes that I have downloaded and worked with so far. I am new to website development using WordPress, so the step by step instructions on how to configure the theme have been extremely helpful.

While going through the instructions I came to the “Adding multicolumn Media Components” section and have been getting an error during the page preview. I inserted the following code using bootstrap 3 for WordPress plugin running in WordPress 4.1:

Everything shows up on the screen properly except that this error message is showing.

Can someone please point in the right direction as to why this error message is coming up and what I need to do to correct it?

Hi! Thank you for this wonderful theme. It has almost everything that I need for my website. However, I have a few questions regarding the Custom Query for the widgets, particularly about Carousels:

1) Is carousel navigation(in the form of carousel indicators) still an option for your theme? I want to have a button navigation below the carousel like the one in this link: https://getbootstrap.com/javascript/#carousel . I noticed in your demo page that the left and right arrows are the only navigation system available.

2) Also, is it possible to have multiple pages as query for a carousel? If not, how can I provide a button navigation for a slider?
