My current site uses listgo theme, it is a directory site that allows end users to submit their own listings. This theme is deprecated now, it has been recommended to use wilcity instead. But I don’t like the look as much as ones on https://www.thinkupthemes.com, like engrave.

But we are trying to find out if a theme like engrave can
1. Retain user driven content functionality. Will end users be able to submit businesses and/or other listings?
2. Can we segment listings between businesses types, like restaurants / retail / etc?
3. Any good recommendation for a google map plugin? We want nice-looking map on front page, as shown in the example https://demo.thinkupthemes.com/?theme=Engrave.

The homepage slider’s description is not displayed in mobile version. It can be seen in desktop version but not in the mobile one.
How can I fix this?

I simply don’t know when (with which version of update) I lost homepage sliders.
Suddenly I noticed that they are not shown anymore.
As a noob, I don’t know where to start. I can still see (all three of) them in Dashboard -> Theme Options -> Homepage. When the page is loaded, I can see the small image in Firefox’s Inspector, so the file is still there.

Any idea where can I start?

UPDATE: I also noticed some other changes (probable bugs). For example, if I look at how the website looked in WebArchive, I can also see that “site-title” and “site-description” are missing. Why?

my website is upgraded to PHP7, and now it seems that engrave lite is not good in the socialmedia part. No option in facebook account, flickr or rss.

An idea (without downgrade in PHP5..)

I am brand-new to WordPress and am having issues editing my website header within the Engrave theme. I have researched several websites for instructions, but I can’t tell if instructions are dated or if I do not have the ability to edit the header. I do not see the option to select Customize > Header Image while editing my site. Is this the correct way to edit the header?

When our website is opened from mobile the header is too big, how can we make it smaller?

After upgrading to version 1.8.14 I can no longer access the Custom option in the Egrave Template control panel, it displays error 500. What is the solution to this problem?

How/where do I stop the theme from stripping images and video from the archive post content? In Theme Options I can select ‘Show full article’ but images still get stripped. I want to show everything up until <!–More–>

Hi, i would like to add a link to a slider img, but there are a couple of things i would like to do:
1- The read more button, that automatically appear, i would like to move it from his position; but i think it’s something i can do easily with some css on the child theme, correct me if i’m wrong.
2- I’d like to change the text of it. The site is in Italian and the string is “read more”; can’t find the query that generates the string, any help?

I have the Engrave paid theme and need to embed the code generated by Facebook for the Facebook pixel. It needs to go between the head codes on each page. I asked the support crew from ThinkUp Themes if they had a theme customisation setting where this would go (such as they provide for Google Analytics) and if there were no area, what file in file manager was used by the theme to store this type of generic code. They told me know nothing about what to do with the FB pixel code and suggested I speak to Facebook.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I’m gathering it’s one of the .php files?

I have been trying to make an FAQ section on a page using various accordion style plugins setup for FAQ and the theme keeps changing the accordion into posts when published. In draft form it appear EXACTLY as it is supposed to for plugin but changes or even causes the page to not load- redirects to the home page- once published.

I dont know how create a sub menu in the primary head menu.
I hace the theme Engrave (Lite)
Someone may give me the step to create it.

I use Engrave Light and Jetpack plugins. In some cases I get strange strings on frontpage posts.
For example:

I need help to disable slider on the home page of https://www.fareed.ca
I have tried my level best to disable the slider but unable to do it. There is a option under Theme Options -> Homepage section to disable Home Slider as you can see the screen. When i save after clicking on Disable button , it doesn’t save. I have no idea why it is not disabling.
