Hi WP forum,

how can we manage to change the hero title in theme empower wp – it′s now “Halbmarathon München im April 2025”? We changed it in the very beginning by theme mesmerize, but changing to mesmerize now will change the DB and destroy / override the settings of empower wp.

The video on our homepage is not working after update. We first updated plugin Mesmerize Companion from version 1.6.152 to 1.6.157 (video still working fine).

After this we update the theme EmpowerWP PRO from version 1.1.39 to 1.1.42.
After update of the theme EmpowerWP PRO our video on the homepage is broken. It shows a strange interface (back / forward button) but is not opening in lightbox or playing.

I can’t change photos on features page section of empowerwp theme, i could like 2 – 3 days ago and now i can’t change photos.

Hi, I’m not sure if this is the correct place to go but I am having trouble editing the hero section of a website page. I am only trying to capitalize one letter to match the other words in the hero section but when I do, the font resets and the section height is reduced, making it look unappealing. I was wondering if this issue can be easily resolved.

We are only using a one-line title and a one-line subtitle over the hero image, with the CTA buttons hidden. How can we reduce the hero section height? I can’t seem to identify the controlling selector.

I’ve already tried to turn off all plugin expect Mesmerize Companion,
but icons continue to be not displayed in my homepage.

Someone had the same issue or could please help me in fix it?

The phrase “Read More” at the bottom of the blog content remains in English. There is no translation in my language (Turkish). I checked the language files. I installed Loco Translate. There are English/Turkish words in the language file of the parent theme, but not in the language file of the Empower WP theme. Therefore, “Read More” does not change. How can I do it?

I added the “News” category to the menu. When I click it it shows at the top of the page: “Category: News” but I just want it to be “News”. How can I do it?

On the homepage I have a short code to show the events countdown. Above it there is a title separator. I have unticked and published multiple times to remove it. However, it is always added back! How can I remove it, even if I have to use CSS I want to remove it, or use CSS to move the event title text (currently Disco) below the separator. Help!

I have a problem getting my “hero” to work, it only seems to randomly and on random browsers.

I have tried setting it as a “poster”, hosting it externally and linking to it, as well as adding it to my own media library, but its the same story every time.

I have also tried lowering the size of the video, but it seems to have no affect.

I have recently purchased the pro content for EmpowerWP so that I can change all the colours to align with my brand.

Whilst within the customiser, the colours appear as desired; all pages are published; however when I preview the site live, only some of the colours have changed.

How do I fix this please?

There is a page customiser button for the front page that opens into a really easy to use editor, but I can’t get it to show for other pages.

Can someone advise how to have the customiser for all pages please?

I am searching for how to remove the “view your shop basket” button from my category pages. Since I have this on a local test-setup, I can’t share a link.
This question is not about the “add to cart” button, but on the button that shows how many articles there are in a basket, and links to the cart page.

The “add to cart” buttons I have hidden by a plugin, but ultimately we want to use woocommerce as a catalog without selling options.

Llevaba sin modificar nada de la web unos meses y al ir a modificar unos puntos de información de mi página de inicio, el editor del tema no me reconoce las secciones por lo que no puedo ni a?adir ni eliminar ni modificar las que tengo ya creadas.
Solo tengo problemas con la página de inicio que es la única que funciona con el editor del propio tema.

I have been using this theme for my web design since 2 months ago. Last friday, I keep getting this “Please wait, this might take a little while” message when I try to customise my webpage again. And it will just hang there. I call up the domain support. They told me that this theme might need to be updated to solve this issue. May I know if the theme will be updating soon?

The graphic was there and then it was gone. I started with header preset 5 and had it pretty well setup. Tweeking this and that and suddenly the picture is gone. I have tried other header presets and get the same issue. The picture shows in customizer, but when I publish it does not show up in the site.

I know I probably ticked a box that made the picture disappear but I can’t find it.

I want to change the text “Your life story preserved forever” in the header but I can’t find where to make that change.

Is it possible to apply styled page content sections to the sub-pages or are they only available on the home page?

Hello – first, I am enjoying EmpowerWP, but I am struggling with some issues. I have six images in the front page hero slideshow. They are all 1950 x 800 px at 150 dpi. Some show properly (to scale) and others appear zoomed in, with details on the outer edges cut off.

Second – I am listing publications and need to indent several paragraphs. We are using the free version of EmpowerWP. Are we able to do this modify the paragraph structure??

Any direction related to how to set this up properly would be greatly appreciated.

My hero font will not save after I have altered it and published the page. It still just comes up with ‘home’ is this because it is not the pro version?
