I noticed I have a default author that isn’t listed as a User. Where else can I find this default author within Emmit Lite?

Also, is it important to add URL page for each author on my domain?

What is the theme page to modify the term “read more” on my main page? If I’m thinking correctly, what is the process to revise or comment out the “read more” after my blog snippets?

Apart from this one issue everything about this theme is fantastic.
The background image that the home page scrolls over is not displaying on client’s and 2 other iphones.

on my page it showes no mobile menu…
I have no idea what is the problem there, there were some other guys managing the website earlier, so no idea if they did anything concerning this.
Would be great if someone could look over it and suggest a solution.
Changing the code files in theme editor should be no problem for me.

I experienced some minor markup problem with the Emmet theme.

There is a superfluous closing “span” in the header.php on line 181:

                    <button class="menu-toggle" aria-controls="main-menu"
                            aria-expanded="false"><span class="menu-show"><?php esc_html_e('Menu', 'emmet-lite')?></span>
                        <span class="menu-close"><?php esc_html_e('Close', 'emmet-lite')?></span>
                        </span>
                    </button>

The other problem is in custom-header.php:

I stumbled upon this CSS in the style section:

        .site-title {
            color: #blank;
        }

Line 52 says:
* get_header_textcolor() options: Hide text (returns 'blank'), or any hex value.

Line 58 is:
$theme_header_text_color = get_header_textcolor();

And line 91 has this check:
if ($theme_header_text_color != '4f4f4f' && $theme_header_text_color != ''):

Looks like the code should check for ‘blank’ instead of an empty string ”.

Our site is acting a bit strange.

* First and Second Feature sections aren’t loading (we only have 1st on anyway)
* CTA Section isn’t loading
* Features section
* The jetback cookie banner (in footer) won’t let you click it away so I removed it and yet still there.

*Also have an issue with infinite scroll missing from blog.

Please help. ??

After updating Emmet Lite to the latest version (1.7.5) infinite scroll stopped working on my blog posts page. Downgraded Emmet Lite back to v1.7.4 and it is working again.
Could you please check this issue?

The theme seems to be incompatible with WP 5.6.

The front page does not show correctly unless I install the enable jQuery migrate helper because of the new jQuery version coming with WordPress 5.6.

jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated

If I set up the old legacy version via the mentioned plugin it works again.

I recently discovered that the date metadata of post is not translatable due to the usage of get_post_time(‘F j, Y’).

This is because get_post_time( string $format = ‘U’, bool $gmt = false, int|WP_Post $post = null, bool $translate = false ) has translate set to false by default. If you set that function to get_post_time(‘F j, Y’, false, null, true) it is automatically translated to wordpress language.

Are you able to fix that?
It’s in the mp_emmet_post_meta() function.

Help is greatly appreciated here. I use LearnDash and have been able to use Additional CSS to remove some elements that appear on the course pages – Meta, tag cloud, etc. However, I cannot figure out how to remove the background image that is inexplicably showing up on Quiz pages.

In the Emmet Lite customizer I have set the background image (you can see on the homepage) for the big title section. This is what appears to be showing up on the quiz pages.

How can I hide this on quiz pages? Or just what do I add to the CSS.

I’ve got Emmet Lite and PolyLang. Translations submitted via the Strings Translations input page do show up on the Title and Tagline, but when it comes to Emmet’s Features Section and other section, the text I’ve put into the Strings Translations do NOT show up in real life.

On Tablet and mobile view (everything under 992 pixel) the background color is wrong and shows still the default:

On desktop it is okay, because of this inline CSS coming from the customizer color section:

Please add this shim to your functions.php to make this theme available on older sites. Otherwise there will be a fatal error after updating.

Hi there, I have the Emmet Lite theme on my wordpress website and I’m trying to upload a background image for the homepage but it seems not to be working. I either tried to modify it from customise theme and with the WP Page Builder but no luck. Can someone help?

I dont seem to find a solution for this overlapping of 2 different sections.
section position is different, and even padding is there in between, still its getting overlapped. Can anyone tell me why this is happening..?

I just wanted to know whether it is possible to have a post slider in the Latest news section as it can display only 4 latest posts.
I wanted to display more within the same space so.

Also it takes long list in mobile display, that also will be cool if there is a slider.

I hid some sections at first to design section by section. But when I try to unhide now.. It wont display the hidden sections in the customize.

i can see the images within the editor but i only see a plain box on the published site for any social links in the footer and the arrow has also disappeared from where you click to jump to the top of the page. also a block. please help. i can see them in safari but not chrome, though i can see in the editor in chrome.

This is a superb theme with so many great features. Even in the Lite version.

Just one thing is missing: Please update Font Awesome from 4.3 to the most recent version 4.7 – thank you very much!

I’m trying to install Google Tag Manager.

There are 2 parts to it, the numbers represent the direction from Google the ‘–‘ is the status.

1 – Paste this code as high in the <head> of the page as possible:
–this I had no trouble with

2 – Additionally, paste this code immediately after the opening <body> tag:
— this is my issue….where is the <body> tag located? I looked through several files, couldn’t find the <body> or </body> tag

Is there a way to change the font size for the shop? While I would simply like to do it for product pages, it is a must for the shop page (see link). The title and number of items overlaps itself.

I have run into 3 areas of issue when building my shop:

The products on both the main page and product pages are not aligning properly. They are all the way to the left edge of the page, with no margin.

Also, I selected for the cart widget to be on the sidebar, but it is at the bottom of the page.

Lastly, while I reduced the image size, the “add to cart” buttons are still huge. Where can I alter the text size and button size?

I would like to remove the duplicate shortened menu right at the top of the page where the contact details are and the social icons please. I have removed everything from there but cant delete the menu part.

Hello there,

The Home Page subscribe which is linked to Mailchimp widget seems to connect to Mailchimp as subscribers are added to the list. Also I can send broadcasts to subscribers.

However, when you fill in the subscribe box, it says “Thank you for sunscribing to out mailing list” (which is fine), but there is no opt in, confirmation, or final email sent (which is specified in Mailchimp). I am not sure if the problem is with the theme or Mailchimp.
