I’m looking for a way (custom css?) to have this theme allow me to select child categories to display as apposed to just parent categories. Can someone help me out?

I am having problems with the slider. When I choose a category for the slider, it is not showing the most recent posts in that category. It seems to be showing the oldest posts. Is there a way that I can change that so that it shows the most recent?

after I updated to WordPress 5.1 the home slider is only showing old content, I need to make it show the newest post in the category, I am not sure what caused the problem, but do you have any suggestions?

When a page launches the menu bar shows the dropped down items for quite a while. I cannot figure out how to stop this happening. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have set a page up with a featured image at the top
copy and two more images… one an image of clothing
and beneath that, an image of a size chart.

No matter what I do, there is always a GINORMOUS
space between the lower image and the size chart-
even though it’s placed immediately beneath the
clothing image

How do i get rid of that ginormous space, please?

Hi, I needed to stop to use this theme because it was shoging the default wordpress gallery with only one column instead of 4, plus with the plugin polylang, the homepage was always white for every language. wordpress 4.7.5

I was able to change the color of the orange for the main navigation through additional CSS as posted in this forum. But no matter what I do, I can’t change it for the blog titles, links in the blog posts, author name or anything except the main navigation.I was wondering how I might be able to do that? Thanks!

First off, thanks for a great theme.

I have two problems:

1. whatever I try I cannot get the “entry title” header to lower case. I managed to lower the case in the footer section (.post-title) by adding the following CSS commands, but the entry titles are unaffected.

.entry-title {
text-transform: none;
}

.post-title {
text-transform: none;
}

2. Above each article there is a little ” sign. It’s clickable, but it leads to a page URL: https://monokuro.eu/.%20get_the_permalink()%20.

That shows:

The requested URL /. get_the_permalink() . was not found on this server.

Hello.
When I open single post page the title is in heading 1 (h1), but when I am at homepage where are all my latest posts they all have the title of heading 2 (h2). How can I change it from heading 2 (h2) to heading 1 (h1)?

I’m using the free emag template version 1.0.7.

How can I remove the homepage post tags? I don’t want the tags I have used or comment option to be listed on the previews of the posts on the homepage.

Also, on the home page you can only click the posts by clicking the title of the post, how can I add the featured image for each post preview to also be clickable to take the user to the post page itself?

How do we make it so that the theme shows the name/alias that the author has selected in their profile?

Currently, the theme will display the actual WordPress username instead of whatever the author has selected in their profile options.

I just installed eMag for my site. (I am currently using the theme The Journal.) To get the site to look the way I’d like it to look with the new theme, I fully expected to have to make some significant changes. However, it would be helpful to have some guidance. Is there some documentation for this theme? I have a choice of using a static page for a home page or my latest blog entries. If I choose a static page, I can choose from the pages I already have, but that’s not what I want to do. One reason I installed this theme is for the design shown in the demo. I’m afraid I’m lost as to how to begin working with what I have to create that kind of homepage.

I admit I didn’t spend too much time looking, but that’s because I didn’t want any visitors to show up on the page while it was looking really bad, and possibly worse, as I hunted for what to do.

Is there some documentation available somewhere? Did I just miss it? Thanks.

How do I get emag’s layout to match the screenshot used in the description of the theme? I’ve worked with wordpress for years and I’ve tried everything in the dashboard that I can think of to get the layout to match what’s advertised.

Hello.
I tried different CSS codes but nothing worked.
I tried code

.entry-meta {
display: none;
}

and it was closer because author name and date was hidden. BUT I want to hide the only author from a single post and on the homepage (I don’t want anywhere to author be shown).

I’m having issues with the Emag theme, the menu bar follows the screen upon scrolling but it doesn’t do it gracefully in my opinion and on a smartphone it’s even worse. I would like, ideally, to stick it so it doesn’t move any more, or completely remove it. I’ve tried to get into the header.php but I get a lot of errors when I erase the code. Is there a simple ways of doing it ?

The same goes for the Footer bar, that adds itself when the page is scrolled down, if this was possible to stick it that would be nice as well.
