Hi guys,

Not sure what support is like for this theme but I need help customising the Education Park theme to show an excerpt length of my choosing on blog posts.

I’m not a coder so I have only tried non-code solutions.

I tried adding the “More” block after the first sentence. I added my own excerpt in the post editor. I amended the default 55 words in the Theme Customiser and tried three different plugins.

None of this has worked.

It may be that I “have” to create a Child theme and add some code – if this is the case, please can you provide very clear code (from start to finish) to enable me to have a one-sentence excerpt only for each post on my static blog page… the code should allow for variation in the length of the sentence because each post will be different, of course.
