I need your help and your assistance please as I use education academia theme to build my website and I need to change something in the main navigation bar in the header

I need to set a unique color for each word/link in the navigation bar , for example, I need to make “home” link in red color, “about us” link in green color, “services ” link in blue color, ex,,,

I tried to edit in the html code and the CSS code but unfortunately it did not work.

So I need your urgent assistance, please

I am running Academia Child Theme and need to create a top bar, which I have done but it sits below the main navigation and I want it to sit above at the very top of the page. Can you advise please?
Additionally, whilst I have put the email address in the bar I wish to change the font to match the rest of the website and the spacing (so ti sits in the middle of the bar). Please can you also assist on this?

Also, what is top drawer in the academia theme>
