After upgrading WordPress to 5.5.3, the widget section for Easymag ads is not allowing for selecting images.

I recently activated a report post plugin called WP Report Post,

But it didn’t show up on my posts. A thread to the plugin support page did not yield a solution.

under USAGE, the plugin author explained how to add

.report-post-link and .report-post-button

I assume it meant to add these codes to the theme files, so I looked through the theme files and I’m guessing they should be added to the

template parts / content single.php

Is that correct?

If correct, I can’t figure out exactly where and how to add those codes. Do you think you can help me with that, please?

When using the theme widgets, News Slider widget, News Ticker widget and Highlighted News widgets category shows only the top-level categories, no sub-categories. Can we make all the categories appear? Thank you.

I was surprised to find out the search result page through the search box does not include each post’s featured image. I checked the search.php on line 27 it refers to another file

get_template_part( 'template-parts/content', 'search' );

So I checked template-parts/content-search.php

I don’t have coding skill and this file does not seem to mention anything on featured image.

So can anyone help and advise how I can add featured image to search result list? Thank you.

I noticed the max number of words of a post title that would appear in 4 different News Layouts for the Front Page News Section being:

Layout 1 and 3 – 10 words
Layout 2 – 8 words
Layout 4 – the entire title however long

My sites’s content are mostly submitted from frontend members so the featured image they upload are of differemt sizes. And I noticed on the theme’s category archive pages, not only the image on the top from the featured post may appear of different sizes from post to post, even the images below it, those from other posts of the same category, may also appear somewhat different sizes, which render the presentation of all the category archive pages “unprofessional-looking.” Is there any way we can make them the same size? Thank you.

I tried to import the demo data but noting was imported though it showed the import was successful. I tried it repeatedly but was no luck. Please help.

In the News Slider Widget the images sizes are 410x260px but the slider shows 555px width.
How can I change the size of the image used to avoid the generated ‘blur’ effect?

I want to combine the static front and a blog combined.
I have the EasyMag Theme.

I have the news slider on top with the lastest blog in 4 different categories on the right. At this moment all the blogs are showing up in the different categories below that. But I want that part being static.

I have the Daisy featured slider enabled at the Frontpage: news slider position. Everything works fine, except when I click on a an article of the slider (image or link), nothing happens. I have to click it twice or three times to go to the article. The same happens on a friend’s computer.

The date that shows up in the header bar is a day ahead of that which I have registered on the back end (Settings, General) as well as the date of my location (IP). manzanillosun.com, currently shows January 2 in the title bar and it is January 1. Any thoughts on how to fix it?

Hi all,

In my child theme (easymag-child), I copied the original theme file (/inc/widgets/widgets.php) to the corresponding child theme directory in order to make some changes without affecting the main theme.
However, the widgets.php file of the main theme stills loaded instead of the child one.

Could you tell me how should I proceed to get the widgets.php of the child theme loaded?
