Yesterday I activated the Donovan Theme for my WordPress Site.
I had been using the Rowling Theme but Donovan is more AMP friendly.
The problems is that with the Rowling Theme I could easily edit any post at a little “edit” button was at the bottom of the top photo on any post.
But on the Donovan them I cannot seem to find the edit post button.
Is it not on the Donovan Theme or am I just not spotting the edit button.

Hi, I’m running Donovan version 1.9 on top of my WordPress site, running on PHP 7.3. It looks like PHP 7.3 is not going to be supported by the upcoming version of WordPress, so I just tried to migrate PHP 7.3 to 8.0 or higher.
But when I swap PHP versions, my website crashes. I’ve checked all my plugins with PHO compatibility checker, and my only issues are with the Donovan Pro plugin, which I deactivated, and my Donovan theme.
Is there a fix to solve that PHP compatibility issue ?

I want to change the color of the icon but I can’t find the css.
On my site I have four central columns for thumbnails and one on the right for widgets.
I would like to widen the four central columns a little to take up more space.
I have the latest version of the Donovan template (free version). After updating WordPress to version 6.1, there was a problem with the correct display of the gallery.
The gallery looks correct in the editor. Graphics are displayed side by side. And it was like that until the wordprees was updated. After updating, all galleries display graphics one above the other.
I checked the website after disabling all plugins and donovan continues to display incorrectly. I changed the template and the gallery is displayed correctly. So I assume it’s a template problem
Temporarily, I use columns to arrange graphics, but this is not the best solution. Unfortunately, I already have some entries and changing all galleries is impossible.

In my Donovan blog, the font gradually shrinks to a smaller font size in a second or 2 after loading the blog or post. I have not changed anything in the CSS.
Could someone help me to resolve this strange issue. Post text size is 16px but it shrinking to almost 50% after loading the blog.

]]>After the 5.9 WP update buttons with style outline would not have any border anymore. I found a workaround to fix it temporarily with additional CSS but would be nice to have it fixed in a future theme update.
If you have the same issue, add the following to additional CSS:

Hi, I have many items in my menu bar and one row is not enough. What is safest way to add another (second) row? Is it sufficient to simply add more and more items to the menu or is it better to use some css or html code? I have same problem with ThemeZee theme, butI think it is very similar to Donovan.

]]>Today I updated the theme to v1.8.5, but in the file /template-parts/content-pages.php there is still this useless code:

This code creates a double image in the pages (not in the articles). This code must be removed.
If I remove the featured image in “edit page”, the highlighted image does not show, but I need to have the featured image as well.

I’m currently using the Donovan theme Version: 1.8.2 (Pro). I’m also using Ultimate Member plugin version 2.2.2. With Ultimate Member it is possible to have conditional navigation menu items, see https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/132-conditional-menus
However, I cannot see the options as shown in the Ultimate Member documentation page above anymore. It was working well before (although I cannot say for sure which combination of versions).

This problem occurs only with pages, not with articles.

I have enabled for my shop the fullwidth template so I dont see the sidebar.
But the sidebar is still displayed.
Also when i create a new page and setup the fullwidth template (it actually works)
When I attach the shop to that page I instantly get the sidebar back.

I noticed that if the search field and the submit button are clicked, the code continues the instruction.
Instead, it should block the sending and show the alert, see attachment.

(choose ONE element, e.g. #main-navigation, OR .main-menu-1, OR header nav, etc.)
Don’t know the element’s ID or class? Don’t even know what that is?

Just wondering if there is a way to customize the space in every block. Let’s say to make it closer to the top and leave no extra space at the bottom.
How about between the blocks? I rather no space as they seem so distant now.
