I just updated the Delicacy version to 1.2.8, from 1.2.4.
Unfortunately now nothing from the theme is shown, i get only plain text.
Is this a known issue, can I fix it somehow?
Elsewise, is there a download possible for the 1.2.4 version of delicacy?

I have purchased the Delicacy Pro theme, and am having trouble getting the slider to show.

I’ve added a post, assigned it to the category Homepage, added a featured image of 588×289 pixels, and turned slider on in theme options (showing excerpts, but I’ve tried full content too). Nothing is displaying at all.

In this theme Delicacy is the Feature Image option for free blogs/websites. Do you have to pay to have it?
It’s not working on my blog and I know it used to, because my previous theme had featured images and it was working fine.

I’m not sure what I did but when I have the Delicacy theme installed my website is blank. If I switch to a different theme it’s fine. My website is https://www.confessionsofaplanneraddict.com

On Friday (12.13.13) my Delicacy theme updated. Now I can no longer put images in my recipe box (Directions), and it has changed the formatting of all my previous posts – adding numbered lists where I’d already included them, and changing the serves/prep box, as well as including a thumbnail.

Also, I can’t seem to alter the thumbnail. It automatically centers and crops the featured image – which looks horrible. Does anyone know of any solutions? Is the paid theme going to fix this? I’ve had Delicacy for a year and a half and I like it, so I would love to pay for it, I just don’t want to have to change the theme.

It says my theme is Version 1.2.8. When did WordPress update to 3.8?

I want to modify the html code from a widget that is shown to users visiting the website.
For example:

I want to remove the spaces of code. Change for:

Someone know how I can do this? I want to do it because one of my clients is too much perfectionist and he doesn’t want spaces in html code.

The background image shows up on the index (or home) page but not on any of the inside pages.. it disappeared when I updated wordpress last time and I’ve never been able to get the background image to show back up on the inside pages.. any help?

I just installed Delicacy on my site and while I already found a few answers here, I still have a number of questions. I realize there is a paid version available, if some of these things are part of the paid one, just let me know and I will buy that one.

Here we go:
– Can the width of side bar be changed, so the main column becomes a little wider?
– Can I avoid that each image automatically has a border? (Images in posts/pages as well as thumbnails/featured images)
– Is there a way to put the search field in red nav bar, instead of on top of it?
– Is there an easy way to have a horizontal opt-in form under the nav bar?
– How can I make the line ?comments closed“ disappear from pages?
– How can I have the first post show in full on the home page, rather than just an excerpt? (The other ones should remain as excerpts underneath.)
– How an I remove the page title (and date etc.) from certain pages?

I’m actually just trying to set up my blog. I LOVE this theme and really want to use it. However the nivo slider is not showing any of my images from posts. Also, I am not getting any thumbnails for each post on the home page. Is it just an issue with 3.6? Does this theme need to be updated for it? Or just wait for another WordPress update? Glad to pay the full price for it if I’m sure it will work in 3.6. Please let me know.

The nivo-slider is no longer appearing on my home page.
When I first installed the theme – it worked perfectly but somewhere along the line as I was developping the site, it stopped working. I had installed plugins (such as thumbnail ajax and nextgen gallery) that I thought might have caused some sort of problem, but I’ve since deactivated and deleted them and the slider still doesn’t work.

I’ve also taken the code from the nivo_default.php and placed it directly in the index.php so as not to call it via the theme option (where you select yes or no to show it). I made sure to copy and paste from the original theme files any time I made changes as well incase I had deleted important lines of code.

Any help much appreciated.

I have tried looking through the various support threads and through a glance of titles, haven’t seen what I’m looking for.

Sometimes when I have a recipe for an item such as maybe a cupcake with a home made frosting, I would like to have two recipe boxes or headers differentiating between the two instead of putting all the ingredients and steps in the single recipe template.

Is there a way to duplicate the recipe section format for when I write a blog post?
