Is there a way to further customize the woo commerce shop page with the daydream theme? I’m using a child’s theme, and all I see is the woo commerce tab in the customizations menu–but that is very limited. I would like to give the page more style…can I do that? thank you so much!
I’ve added CSS code to hide pinterest images. I’ve placed them at the bottom of the post. The CSS is:
/* Hide Pinterest images with the pinterest-hidden class */
.pinterest-hidden {
display: none;
}
I’ve added “pinterest-hidden” as an additional CSS class. When I use the Tailwind chrome extension, it does not see the three hidden images (but it does see the others.) I’ve tried putting them in various places throughout the post. I’ve logged out and back in. I’m at a loss. It was suggested that it was a theme thing? NOTE, if I’m in Gutenberg, I can select the tailwind button that appears when I hover on the image and pin it that way. But, that defeats the purpose of being able to use the extension. Any ideas?
Thank you!
breadcrumbs are only showing on the customization preview and publish page, but not on the actual pages. It worked at first?? Also, the menu is set for all caps, and all caps shows in the customization pages, but not in the actual page?? It worked at first too…is there some weird bug? I have made multiple wordpress sites and never have i had this issue.
also, can I change the heading font for pages? I do not want blue.
Thank you
Good afternoon,
I’ve changed the primary color, but the one thing that doesn’t change is the hover color on product previews. It’s still the default teal color. How can I change this?
Hello,
I have multiple issues with my website. Please help!
1. On mobile, the drop down menu does not allow you to click on the main pages, only the sub-pages. For example, on mobile, you can’t click on contact us, but you can click on the disclosure page. I’d like to be able to get to either from mobile.
2. The featured image for the posts are not responsive. I have created specific images that are more banner layout that fit the homepage, but do not look well (cut off) on the actual blog post in mobile. If I create a smaller image for the blog post, then the homepage recent posts images do not fit correctly.
3. The comment section within the blog posts are not responsive. They look great on desktop but do not shrink down properly for mobile. Half of the comment boxes to make a comment are cut off.
How do I go about changing these items with the Daydream Theme?
Thanks in advance!
I am using the MailerLite block to embed a form. I can fill out the form fine, but I can not submit it. Nothing happens when I click the submit button. I do not have a cache plugin installed (I read they sometimes conflict with the forms.) Does the Daydream conflict with embedded forms?
Can someone please tell me how to change the footer text color on the day dream theme. I do not see an option in customization anywhere.
I’m reading the documentation and it shows sub menus (sub items) are allowed in a menu. Mine are coming up with a totally different font and with a black background. I was able to change the color of the sub menu font and hover font, but I can’t find where to change the font and background color. Please advise? Thank you.
I’ve had complaints that the links for my posts that are on my home page can not be clicked on an iPhone. I’ve researched and found an issue in other themes where the sidebar sometimes covers that area on smaller mobile devises. It works fine on my iPad. I turned off the sidebar and the links work on my phone. Is there CSS code I can use to keep this from happening on mobile? If you visit my site now on your phone, you will be able to see the problem. Thank you.
I’m having an issue with the shop page on my website. This seems to be something that happens with WooCommerce and the solution appears to be on a theme by theme basis. The issue is that on the top of my shop page it says, under the Title, “
This is where you can add new products to your store.
”. I’ve tried the solutions from other themes and none of them worked. How can I remove this?
I was wondering if there was a dark mode feature? I tried changing “background color” in Customize but nothing changed. Tried a few CSS things and I couldn’t get it.
When I want the second option of menu in daydream, the menu disappears when you’re on top of the page. Which looks nice, but is kind of annoying when you go to a page just to find something, or want to click through to another page. Or is that just not possible with that option of menu?
I’m wondering if it’s possible in Daydream to hide the featured image on the page or post itself? Because it doesn’t show very nicely, and I just want the featured image for search results and in the grid view.
I’m wondering if there’s a way to change the color of the nav button (hamburger) on mobile view. My banner is quite dark and the button blends in quite a bit making it hard to see.
I love this theme, however I have no idea how to make it mobile friendly. Any help for a beginner would be great.
Thanks
Hi Team themevendeta,
I am trying to change two things:
1. the breadcrumbs in the title header looks odd, there is no spacer in between the links. Is there an option to change it that I might have missed?
2. right above the comment section there is a discription that says “Name*Email*WebsiteComment”, which looks odd as well.
Any tips?
Lorenz
PS: really like your theme, btw!
