Hi – i have looked for an answer to this on the forum and attempted to amend the code from the instructions i’ve found without success.

I am wanting to remove the grey line under the menu

and also to set the page width so the site doesn’t move around on the page – from left to right.

I am amending the original style sheet as i’m not sure how to do otherwise.

The “read more” function doesn’t work properly. In some posts, only the title and the featured image would appear on the homepage of the blog, no text at all (eventhough I have previously set the “read more” tag on the part of the text I needed). I tried deactivating all active plugins, but nothing will happen. What can I do?

I want to use featured images on my pages and posts, but it seems that the dimensions of individual images show up in different sizes. Are there recommended dimensions for achieving uniform featured image sizes or a place in the theme where I can edit the size of all featured images?

In posts, I cannot align an image to the center. After disabling all plugins, the problem persisted.

I can make a fix for this using important declarations, but I wanted to know if this was a known problem and where the hiccup occurs. Any ideas?

After going through many themes, I decided on yours, but in your example screenshot for the landing page, it shows excerpt text below the image. I just installed and configured the theme, but there is no text below the image nor is there any option to show text in the “Customise” section.

As well, the footer menu is quite small and barely readable.

Hi, is it possible to have a static home page and also have a blog feed page? I didn’t see the display option for blog feed when editing my pages within this theme. Thank you!

I have very limited coding experience, but I assume this would be a relatively easy tweak in editor. I am using the Crawford theme on the most current version of WordPress.

When a featured image is set on a blog post in Crawford, the image does not appear in the main blog feed area on the home page (it appears on the actual post page). I am looking to tweak it so that the featured image of each blog post displays in the main blog feed area (just after the post title and just before the post preview text).

Currently, if I manually add an image to the post content, it does appear in the feed, but it is left justified, and it cuts off all of the preview text.

Would there be an easy way that I can modify the theme so that featured images appear in the main blog feed area and do NOT cut off any of the preview text content?

I looked at the wordpress settings and nothing seems to be wrong there (other themes do not have this problem). I’m the absolute worst when it comes to code, so if anyone knows what this is and what to do, please help me ??

I recently switched to the Crawford theme and I love it, except for one thing… All of my featured images are cut off and I can’t find a way to adjust the theme so it shows all of my featured images top to bottom. Can you help?

I’m trying to set a wider page width for my page posts.
I tried changing this “max-width:768px)” in the style sheet, but in made no difference. I looked thru all the Templates and Styles searching for a number I could change to make the page wider, but the only one I found was in the Stylesheet and making a change there did nothing.

As the title of this topic said, I need to add an header image between the subtitle and the navigator, maintaining the white background, positioning the image itself at the center of the page and limiting its vertical dimension respecting the image ratio. How can I do this?
