I’ve just tried the Contango theme, but I have some problems. I would like to be able to change the side bar to remove the calendar, change the information paragraph on the text.

I would also like to change the home page so that the articles are not displayed in full!

I am using this theme.
I have created a child theme by following wordpress document.
But when i activate the child theme , then the css of child is not affecting and the menu section css was get changed little bit.
Sidebar come with all the widget.

Suddenly my numeric pagination does not work anymore.
I see that the right url is made but when I click on next page or a number nothing happens.

Whenever I reply to a comment from the WordPress app or direct from the page it’s showing misaligned. Any ideas? While I’m here, I like to change the apple green font colour to teal, does anyone know which code is the green? I’m having trouble finding it.

Hi, after upgrading WordPress to 4.0.1 and Contango Theme to 1.2.7.5 my blog doesn’t shows correctly on smartphones. Before (wordpress 3.8 and contango theme 1.2.5) there was the full visualization for pc and tablets and a mobile visualization for smartphones. Now on smartphones shows the full theme or in the worst case HTML!!! What can i do? Can I downgrade to previous versions? Thanks

I cant figure out how to order the main pages from the menu top bar. I tried by going to quick edit and assigning a number (1-4) since I only have 4 pages, it appears to work there, but, when I go to the actual site it is still in the wrong order. I also installed a plug in to drag and drop the pages to order them as I wish but, it does not fix it when I refresh the site : https://narracionesmagicas.info/.

Does anybody know how to fix this? I dont like the home (inicio) page showing at the last place in the menu bar.

No matter what settings I change, I can’t get the comment box to show up on any of my blog posts. I have comments enabled and I have looked through all the settings to double check everything. Any ideas?

As the title says, I am looking for a way to remove this green date box.

I created a site using the Contango theme in June 2013. Today I went to make some changes to the theme appearance and when I click on the Appearance > Customize link I get a blank white page with this text at the top:

The “Edit Add Google Analytics Stats” looks like hyperlinked text

but the link is dead.

Hi, I just start using the Contango template, I loved it. But unfortunately, it doesn’t display code content as expected, how can I fix it?
It is quite weird, since when I paste a code and set it as so in the wordpress dashboard, the preview visualization in the bottom displays it nicely, but the outcome after publishing it is disappointing.

How can I delete field “site” in comments?

How can I change the height of the header image?

The “Leave a comment” link does not work in my blog posts. It just refreshed the page.

I tried switching to a different theme and once I did so, the link worked but when I switched back to Contango, the problem returned.

Tried deactivating all my plugins and that didn’t fix the issue either.

Any ideas? I have all the right settings enabled, for comments on posts. (At least I think I do!)

Hi. I am using Contango theme & would like to change 2 things:

1) The post’s date box (left side of the post’s title) – I would like the change the shape from square to round.

2) How can I remove ‘written by’ section underneath the post’s title? It shows “By: my name”

I recently installed version 1.2.7.4 of Contango and now the main page layout isn’t displaying correctly. It is only the main page, and not any of the individual posts, months, or category pages. I love the Contango theme and am using it for a new website I’m currently building offline. I was pleasantly surprised to see the category description show up above Category Archives. However, I’d like to tinker with the visuals of this description box (most notably spacing, text alignment and font size). Could you tell me if this is in any way possible?
