I can’t figure out how to get WordPress to not use such as huge image as my featured image in this article. Due to it blowing the photo way up in size, it looks very blurry. I used the edit feature to resize the image to no avail. I also resized the photo and then uploaded to my media folder and inserted a smaller version of this photo into the article. I’ve read through all sorts of articles on the topic yet none of them seem to help. I see no ‘featured image’ setting in the theme customization that apparently some themes include. I’ve tried a few plug-ins, too, that were supposed to help to no avail. If the theme had a setting for setting features images to a specific size (such as 250×177, for example), that may help me but I am finding no setting like this. When I click on the featured image and ‘inspect it’, it shows that it is 225 x 225 (which should be an OK size for this image) yet WordPress is showing a huge version of this small file.. how do I fix this?
