I was wondering if Colormag has any incompatibility issue with the Wpdevart Social comments WordPresss plugin.
It has been working since a long time ago but recently it has been showing some issues.
The Facebook API is live and active as well as the plugin which is also updated and compatible with my WordPress version 6.6.2.
The issue is: the plugin displays correctly inside the WordPress Admin panel (see below):

so i just noticed, that whenever someone opens a site of mine that doesnt exist, that colormag seems to show the menu from the bottom center in the page instead of the 404 error page.
I checked the theme files and the 404.php file is there, but its simply not shown when an error occours.
I already regenerated the htaccess and the permalinks.
Any clue?

I was wondering why the tag <h1> is duplicated at the homepage in some posts. It does not make sense.
It cannot be hidden from the post summary (or excerpt). It should only show the h1 title ONCE and the summary, right?
I have checked Elementor settings and there’s no option to include OR exclude that.
How can I fix that? It may be affecting the on-page SEO of my website.

every time you update m you delete the css. this story is no longer possible. you deleted all the tracking codes (analytics etc), all the additional css codes. it’s the 5th time you do this, but enough, enough, enough. find a definitive solution, because even with child theme you managed to delete everything. if I change something it must be as I want it, not that with every update you delete everything. By default, the ColorMag theme doesn’t display the photos, only their bio.
I’ve found the Simple Author Box plugin which displays the photo + bio.
This plugin displays a 2nd author box on each article.
So I want to remove ColorMag’s native author box, which duplicates the Simple Author Box box.
How do I do this?

]]>We just upgraded to PHP 8.1.2.9 on our test environment and now on some of our ColorMag sites the content of any page assigned as the site’s home page does not show. When you remove the home page assignation from that page you can then see the content.

]]>I have been struggling for the past month to fix my pages that have been edited using Elementor. When I try to edit a page the error says ‘your site doesn’t have a default kit’, but it also doesn’t allow me to recreate the kit (when I save the kit it just comes back with the same error).
It seems the issue is in the ColorMag theme, as this doesn’t happen when I change themes.
However, there is an overall ‘Elementor Debugger’ error with the ‘Theme’ that states ‘Template File: No Templates for condition > ColorMag Pro – front-page.php’. The front page is now blank.
Although I have tried the option of changing the theme, there is still the same ‘Elementor Debugger’ error and I would rather stick with the ColorMag Pro theme as I really like working with it.
Any ideas on how to fix this error? Thanks in advance!

]]>Hello, I use your theme on several of my sites (French). my sites all have the same plugins, and are all done the same. on the other hand, in some of them, the translation is incomplete and certain parts of the theme are in English, while on other sites, everything is in French. For example, in the “categories” pages, the “read more” button remains in English while in others, they are perfectly translated into French. In the same style, in blog posts, with posts at the end of articles to other articles in the same category or tag, there is the phrase “You May Also Like” which does not translate well on all my sites. I have already tried to use the Loco Translate plugin but it is ineffective. Do you have a way to modify this directly in the theme, or better, to provide a correction in the code because depending on the site, the translation is only partial. Thank you for your comeback.

I noticed a new issue regarding the main “title” photo” of my posts in the ColorMag theme. Allthough I upload quality photos they got reduced to 800×445 and then look blurry and pixeled on a big screen.
Is there soemthing I can do to get a better image resolution for the most important images in the posts? All other images in the posts are still good.

Troubleshooting suggestions:
Ensure the page you are linking to exists in the correct folder.
