Found this theme when I was looking for a simple and clean theme for my website/blog. Really nice and easy theme to work with. Found a bug. The theme was missing the add_theme_support( ‘responsive-embeds’ ); in the functions.php file. Made all video embeds not respect the size option set by Gutenberg editor. Added that line in the child theme and then video sizes worked. Otherwise I haven’t found any problems with the theme. Awesome!

Minimum, fast and automatic night mode.

I use this theme for my personal website.
I searched for theme to try out Gutenberg. First I tried twentynineteen but I liked CoBlocks more.
The theme is very fast. There are not too many design options (customizer), but everything is fine for a free theme.

Finding a good minimal theme for WordPress is a lot harder than it might seem. I looked at a bunch, and ended up with this one. It’s simple, plays well with Gutenberg, and in my opinion, the defaults look great. I’m partial to the dynamic search bar and the blog post tag styling. I had some issues with it while playing with it, and Rich, it’s author, was super responsive and helpful.

It seems really awesome although there is was an essential feature I am missing (and cannot use this theme yet) – grid layout for posts (with a short excerpt and ‘read more’ button).
Any chance to add such an option?

Nice and lightweight Gutenberg theme – I like how the author put effort into matching editor styling also. Good job!

Theme doesn’t display correctly on the rep preview site. Or at least I think it does not, because I can’t for the life of me imagine a theme that will be an actual screen wide with no side margins at all. The dev’s website doesn’t have a demo. Installing on my test site with all the required plugins didn’t change anything.
And just to add. Their other themes look rather nice on their site. But. In order to download a free theme you need to provide an email address, to which they are supposed to send you a link. Which – tada! – never arrives. These are the people who expect you to buy something from them. Just saying.
