Hello,

I am using your wonderful Circumference Lite theme for my website https://www.backyardastroscience.com.au, and I have question regarding the homepage layout.
I have a slider widget containing multiple graphic panels embedded in the ‘Banner Wide’ component. The slider is the only widget in ‘Banner Wide’
I would like to be able to move the slider upwards on the page so that it sits behind the Site Logo, Site Name and Menu.
Is this possible? If so, could you suggest the simplest approach to achieve this without damaging the rest of the theme.
Any assistance you can give is greatly appreciated.

I have used the css styling mentioned before to reduce the space below the logo and that works great…thanks for that. What I am needing is the hero images that I have below the bars under the logo has a bunch of whitespace above that. I have noticed that the copyright notice at the bottom of the page says 2018 instead of 2017.

Can someone advise how to change this to 2017? It is done automatically so every website using this theme would also have it changed automatically to 2018.

I am trying to open my website but it says Page not Found. My website link is https://www.jasperplace-cfrc.com. I tried even to open wp-admin and php but nothing works. Every time it says Page not Found. I think I messed something in the Settings. Is there anyway I can fix this ?

to a “https”, I’m not getting my page a secure classification becouse of this link.

I just did the new WordPress update (4.8) and my slide show on my homepage (banner wide) just disappeared on mobiles and tablets. I am trying to customize the footer but whatever changes I make in style.css or footer.php, it never works. I tried to place an image in the footer, so first I entered this code in my footer.php file :

Hi, my logo goes off the page on mobile. Is there a reason for this? I see nothing in the documentation or customization to give limits on the size of the logo. I’ve tried smaller ones and it still doesn’t work responsively.

Hi, my logo is much taller than I would like and there is too much white space below it. How can I remove that extra white space to make it vertically narrower?

In the documentation, under How to Make Custom Changes to your Theme:

Go to Appearance >> Themes >> Add New >> Upload >> Choose File
Locate the original downloaded (and unzipped) circumference-package file
Inside, select the file “circumference-child.zip” and click Install Now

I only have a file named circumference-lite.3.0.2.zip. It is not a package file and it has to be unzipped to access the files inside, which don’t include a circumference-child.zip file. Where can this be located?

I recently noticed that the header image (added through the banner wide widget) is no longer stretching the entire width of the site. I’m not sure what would have changed for this to change.

I have been developing a large site with lots of custom css using circumference theme and it’s been good. However, jet pack plugin has just been updated and now the custom css is not being applied. I have checked all the jet pack help files and suggestions and everything is checking out. The last suggestion is there is a conflict with the theme – which is why I am here. When I restore my site to the point before updating jetpack it all works fine again. (I can’t continue working on the site without custom css, so right now the site is running with the older, working plugin). rcclinic.co.uk

To be clear: with the new jetpack, the custom css sheet is visible in the customiser, all revisions can be seen, but it is not being applied, so the site looks terrible.

Any suggestions?

I was not able to see some icons on my webpages when I was using a mobile Android device browser.
In order to be able to see the pictures I had to change the “circumferencelite-bootstrap.min.css” file and remove line 49 “*,*:before,*:after{-webkit-box-sizing:border-box;-moz-box-sizing:border-box;box-sizing:border-box;}”
Are you planning on addressing this issue in the future updates?

I am building a test website (still under maintenance).

In the Customizer of Circumference Lite there are options for changing colours. When I try this, the colours don’t change. And the settings can’t be saved. There is also an option for Social Networking. When I try to type a valid link it says: ‘incorrect value’ and I can’t save.

I have installed circumference lite by searching it and adding the theme. Should I reinstall the theme? And will I lose all my changes when I do this?

I couldn’t find this answered anywhere for this theme. What is the best way to remove the line that shows the date and author and comments from the top of the blog post?

I also don’t want that info to show up on the blog post page that just shows the preview of the posts.

Please use the following steps to change you banner image;
Go to Dashboard => Appearance => Widget => Banner Wide => And keep the Text widget inside the Banner Wide widget and keep the image in content are of text widget but you need to keep your image like this:-

Then save it.

1. I removed Slider other than home page with reference of “resolved problem” but after that that space was occupied by solid blue color

2. i removed search icon with reference of “resolved problem” next to the menu bar

I just updated my circumference theme to version 2.5.0 and a search icon (Magnifier) has appeared next to the primary menu. This seems to link to a search form that does not work.
What is the best way to remove this new, non functional link?

The new elements are generated by the following code which seems to be new in version 2.5.0:

I tried to clone the Home page of a site I’m working on to make some changes. Specifically to add the meta slider in the banner wide area where a single image now exists.
I can do this. However, when I do, the meta slider displays on the original page as well as the clone. I need to keep the original image on the page for now.

How can I prevent the slider from appearing on the original page?

I have had a problem with the Circumference Lite Theme for a while now. I have a child theme under it that I have been modifying for a while. Unfortunately, it won’t accept searchform.php from the child theme. I have to save my modified searchform.php file over the main theme version. Therefore, when I updated the theme just now to 2.0.0, I lost my changes and I have to overwrite it again.

Tonight, the problem is back… GTmetrix gave me a loading time of 61 secondes (!!!).

Question : is there a new update from circumference coming? Is it a theme problem or ???.

How do I increase the excerpt length on the posts page. I have tried using multiple plugins, as well as adding some code to functions.php, but nothing has worked (whereas I’ve had them work on other themes)

I’d like to have the header image only on the homepage for the site, how do I remove it from all other pages?
