I am building a website with this theme, and I am looking into locating the logo in the same header (that is inline with) where the menu bar is. That is having the logo left of the menubar.
How can I do this?

The featured Slider is not scrolling through featured images. I created 3 pages with featured content. all 3 pages are active. I called them out in the Featured slider section but only the 1st featured image appears and there is no scrolling.

I’m having some issues with alternative texts not being loaded on the theme.
When inspecting the page I can see the alt tag but empty (alt=””). Is there any reason why the theme is not loading them.
BTW, they are all populated in the page content, I have doubled checked it.

Hi there, I have been trying to increase the speed of my website..

I installed the WP Fastest and Autoptimize plugins. In retrospect I don’t think it is necessary to have both..

However they have had a detrimental affect on my home page.

The slider now drops away after a few seconds and a large white space appears..

I deactivated both plugins but it is still doing it.

If someone can help me out that would be great!

How do I remove the background. For instance so the slider on the home page fills the screen..

Beginner here. Like so many others, I’m investigating how to remove/change the theme copyright notice in the footer of my site. I’ve discovered several ways to accomplish this, but one question is unanswered. Most remedies consist of altering the code in footer.php, however the actual copyright notice is not present in this file for altering. I believe it is generated somehow from the do_action( ‘catchbase_footer’ ); line of code (see below). Is this correct? If it is correct, can someone please explain where this action is called from? Where does it reside please? Is it generated from an add_action function and if so, where would one look for it? I’ve searched all the theme files and cannot find this ‘catchbase_footer’ string anywhere.

The parent page is only in the menu above. Now I would like to create a child page who shows up in the parent page. In other words, the parent page is only filled with child pages. Is that possible? It doesn’t work with the “page create” “parent page” button…

I use the catch base theme

Original post was done in general WP help forum. I’m told it could be a theme-related issue.

I recently launched my blog, using the Catch Base Theme.

I’m using Akismet to filter spam. It is a bilingual site, and I use Polylang for the second language. I also use WP Super Cache, and I have emptied the cache.

I see on my Dashboard 2 comments awaiting moderation. I know for a fact at least one is not spam. Unfortunately, they do not show up in the comments menu (or spam), whether I try listing them by Pending or All.

Sometime after either my upgrade to WordPress 4.5 or to the most current version of the theme (2.8.1) the options to customize the theme in the WordPress panel are simply gone.

Under the appearance -> customize menu, where I used to see options to change various display options, all I see now is an “upgrade to pro” link and a “widgets” button that does not render anything.

I’ve tried totally reinstalling the theme and verifying all the files are properly uploaded. I’m unable to change anything related to the site’s theme through WordPress now.

I’d like to remove the pages menu that appears above my header image. My site is sjimaartistsregistry.com I prefer to display the menu vertically as a sidebar, and I don’t want both menus.

when sharing the starting site of linke-wange.de I get the origin layout of the theme with the blind text instead of the layout which I′ve generated: How can I correst this?

I went into “Settings > Reading” in my www.remarpro.com dashboard and set each article in the feed to display full text for my posts, however I keep only getting posts summarys on my posts page. I tried to swtich back and for between full texts and summary in attempt to resovle, but that’s not working. Anyone else having this issue? I LOVE this theme and hope that this can be resolved easily as I do not know how to work with the coding.

One my my main issues with the default slider module is that you have to use images that are dark in order for the white text to show. What would be the best way to either change the text color, or turn the text box background to translucent grey so the text pops out a bit more on white photos?

In other words, what is the css selector for the text box i can use?

I can’t find where you store the pics that are in the slider that comes with the theme. I assume that is where I would want to put my pics but if that is incorrect, please let me know where they should go

Hello, is it possible to disable the responsive Webdesign. So that the Website is shown on Smartphone the same way as on the desk Version.

I am a graphic design student and I just started working with wordpress. I was trying to customize my theme, but I am having trouble navigating the CSS to find exactly what I need. I would like to float the main nav in the header next to the logo, but I can’t seem to make it work. When I float the nav right it just stays under the header instead of being included in it. Where do I go to fix this?

Please excuse me if I am not accurate enough… I’m beginning.
This is about my first steps while trying to build my first website with WordPress… (I hope I’m on the right forum).

WordPress was installed with success.
Then, I installed a new theme, a Catch base one.
After a few clicks and trials to discover the interface, the following message appeared on the top of my site page and other active windows on the dashboard :

‘Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /home/clients/…../web/wp-content/themes/catch-base/inc/catchbase-core.php on line 1488’

It is perennial and I guess it won’t disappear magically…
I don’t know if it appeared because of something I did wrong.
