Hi, I’d like your help on a couple questions with the Bradbury Lite Template:
Thanks!
]]>Hi, we recently activated the Bradbury Lite theme and overall it looks great. I just can’t sort out how to fix the display of the photo captions used in some of our posts. Instead of matching the width of the photo, they show as far-left aligned. I’ve linked a page as an example.
]]>Hi,
Before you open a new support thread, please watch the full video about the Bradbury Theme.
The video is a complete walk-through of the theme’s features and settings.
I hope this video helps.
]]>Hi,
Thank you for installing and trying Bradbury Education Theme.
Please note that all of the theme’s settings and options are available from Apperance > Customize > Theme Settings.
And now the answers to some potential questions:
1. HOMEPAGE SLIDESHOW
The homepage slideshow displays up to 5 Featured PAGES. You can choose them from Appearance > Customize > Theme Settings.
By default they display the page title, page excerpt and a Read More button linking to the page.
2. SIDEBAR POSITION
The Sidebar position can be changed too: on the left, on the right or none at all.
You can change the position any time from Appearance > Customize > Theme Settings.
This setting is global (affects all pages).
3. FOOTER WIDGETS.
The footer contains 4 widgetized columns.
You can add any widgets on the Appearance > Widgets page.
If none of the 4 widgetized areas contain any widgets – the block will not be displayed.
4. BREADCRUMBS
The theme comes with built-in support for the Breadcrumbs feature that comes with Yoast SEO plugin. Simply enable this feature in the plugin and it will be displayed by the theme.
5. CUSTOM WIDGETS: FEATURED PAGES & FEATURED POSTS
The theme comes with 2 custom widgets: Academia: Featured Posts and Academia: Recent Posts.
They were developed to be displayed in the Homepage: Content Widgets widgetized area.
Their configuration is pretty straightforward, so feel free to test them out.
I hope this helps!
