Out latest post is not showing on the home page. I can see it if I have the direct link or view from the dashboard. I can see it if I click on our tag heading “country music”. This happened with the previous post but it is now visible.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I am trying to change the color of the footer, it is currently black and orange and that doesn’t go with my color scheme. I want to change the background color and the text color in the footer. I currently have 2 widgets in the footer, the godaddy email marketing form and social profiles, both of which are orange. I have tried putting the following into the Additional Css area and nothing seems to work. Please help!
.footer{
background: #2723c1;
}
.footer-socket-wrapper {
background-color: #F8F8F8;
}
footer#footer h3.widget-title {
color: #808080;
}
We’d love to add Google ads to our site but I can’t seem to locate the header.php file. The AdSense “getting started” info says my code snippet needs to be between
and
on the header.php file.
I’ve gone to the dashboard under Appearance – Editor but I can only see author.php, content.php, footer.php, functions.php and sidebar.php. Why is the header.php not here?
Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Trish
I’m struggling with the translation file. If i switch to standard Twentythirteen theme, the translation is on, if i switch to Blogsonry child theme, the translation is off.
So I tried to place the “blogsonry-cs_CZ.mo” file into /wp-content/themes/blogsonry/languages/ as “blogsonry-cs_CZ.mo” but it also doesn’t work.
Please can you advice the right method? I would prefer to have language files in blogsonry child theme, so they wouldn’t be overwritten when the parent twentythirteen theme is updated.
Thank you!
On techblog.king.com, which is using a child theme of Blogsonry, I am trying to remove the date and the clock icon from the top of blogposts.
I’ve found that this will remove the date but not the clock icon:
/* Hide clock and date icon from top of blogposts */
.site-content .entry-date a:before,
.attachment .site-content span.entry-date:before {
display: none;
}
Any hints?
Thanks,
Jim.
Hi, me again…
In my search page I append an .odd and .even class to the article so as to change the background. I also insert another article now and then, every 7 posts (an add) with php. But it works on the first page (before scrolling).
The infinite scroll seems to only load the default content on the second pages and the rest… my extra php doesnt seem to be taken into account as the extra articles are not loaded either.
What would I need to change to run the extra php in the loader ?
Hope I make sense.
Thanks again.
Hi there,
There seems to be an issue with the infinite scroll pagination due to version 1.0.7. It seems the pagination is screwed when it’s on auto scroll and the css is not applied for these pages. It seems to be due to the function.js file where the variables are not global anymore. Keeping the old version works. I have the latest version of twentythirteen.

I screwed something up somewhere but don′t know where.

Hi Mark,
finaly it seems that i found a theme which i like and hopefully will use a longer time than in the past. But i have one thing that bothers me.
Me header picture is more yellow and the search bar as well. Most of the post are in deep orange thats not looking so nice. Any chance that i can set up just white as a default colour?
if you like have a look on my site and see what i mean
Would be greatif you have an advice for me

Mark,
Thank you for designing this combo of Twenty Thirteen and Masonry!
I have a 3-year old blog that has been through approximately 15+ different themes, and thought I’d try out one with a Masonry Layout: https://shapeshifter3.com/. In the past, I have always used Featured Images with short excerpts to direct the viewer to a Single Post page with an embedded video + Lyrics (or text).
In the most recent past, I have been using Featured Images around 1200 px wide (or wider) and 500-700 px high. Also, the Featured Images have NOT been displayed in the Individual Posts themselves.
What code snippets can I add to my Theme Editor to get these two objectives:
1. No display of Featured Images in the Individual Posts, and
2. If the first request can’t be done, how about a 1200 px display width of the Featured Images at the top of Individual Posts instead of the small images that are currently displayed?
(If you check out the link to my site, maybe you can come up with some other ideas).
Thanks for the efforts of your work!
Would it be possible to change the blogsonry theme so that the image for each post/excerpt is above the title, and not below?
I think it would look better.
