Is there a recommended or optimum size for banners with Blank Canvas?

Hi!
I’ve recently noticed that visitors on my site cannot select and copy any of the text. I would like to change this, but have no idea how.

Suggestions I’ve tried so far:
– check theme/plugin settings
– update all plugins
– add custom CSS
body {
-webkit-user-select: auto !important;
-moz-user-select: auto !important;
-ms-user-select: auto !important;
user-select: auto !important;
}

These things haven’t worked so far. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

I’m having an issue with my WooCommerce store + Blank Canvas theme where some out of state users are getting the error message “Zip Code does not match selected state” at checkout when trying to complete payment. I’ve gone through hours of troubleshooting and the only thing I can think of at this point is that there’s some sort of conflict between Blank Canvas and WooCommerce. Has anybody else experienced this? For references, I’ve had people in Oregon and Colorado tell me this and I’m based in Texas. Orders from Texas go through no problem.

I have Woocommerce and Stripe payments integration. However recently, the Stripe credit cart input fields are disabled and I cannot type in values. If I switch to other theme, it works properly. Anyone could help with this issue? Thanks.

I’m hoping to be able to add a banner image to the header of my site. Under Appearance/Customise/Site identity it’s possible to add a little 240px square logo, but ideally I like to have a full width banner (rather than having it as part of the main page content as you can see that I have at the moment).
Any help is very much appreciated!

I could use some help with this though – I created a custom template, based on the Home template I had built. But when I use it to create a new page, the new page only displays the custom template, none of the content I add when editing the new page. (I have saved etc).

What am I doing wrong plrease?

With my layout for my site, I’ve noticed the way that tablet/mobile modes makes the site visible doesn’t make my site viewer-friendly. I want to make my site to where the desktop mode layout is viewable across all devices. Is there any additional coding, a plugin, or something that will make that possible?

A simple website comprised of three pages, one of them set as front page.

Whenever the front page displays, the <title> tag remains empty. For the other pages, the page title is used as <title> as expected.

I’m using the ‘Blank Canvas’ theme.

Similar questions were asked before but the questions and solutions were pertaining to particular themes I don’t use so the answers weren’t applicable to my case.

Hey where in the Theme File Editor is the code for “underline” links. I want to remove the underline, but looking through all of the files I can’t find an easy line of CSS for font decoration to remove. Is it in the Seedlet file or in Blank Canvas?

I’m using the Blank Canvas theme with a static page and was wondering how to remove/adjust the space between the header (site title and tagline) and content? I’d like there to be less space so I can fit more content without scrolling.

Hi everyone, wondering if someone can help me out. My homepage shows a huge header image that won’t go away even though I’ve deleted it in the site editor. The first attached image shows the image that I’m trying to get rid; and the second attached image shows the site editor which shows I’ve removed the image. I’ve also deleted all blog posts.

I am looking to add some customizations to this theme but whenever I add a custom css to the style.css, it doesn’t get loaded to the theme.

What is the correct way to properly edit the style.css? I know that I can customize it through the GUI using the custom css option but I prefer to use the style.css if possible.

I’ve noticed that in the Blank Canvas theme, the titles I give posts are displayed in the admin console but not on the actual page, so I have to repeat the title in the post so that it displays. Is there a way I can make the titles display other than doing that? Or is there a reason I should want them to be hidden that I’m not thinking of?

I’d like to remove the “Proudly Powered By WordPress” text (and link) that appears by default at the bottom of every page. I’ve looked through all the Customize options for the Blank Canvas theme but I don’t see how to do it. Suggestions much appreciated!

Although the menu displays fine on desktop, it doesn’t appear on mobile.

I made my website with elementor, and am very pleased with this theme. I just keep running into 1 problem:

I cannot remove the line under my links.

All global settings in Elementor are set and work fine. I tried removing cache, but the lines are still here.

When changing in appearence-> fonts-> it says: go to block editor. But, in the wp block editor I don’t see any global settings.

Please help me out.

Wow—the Blank Canvas theme is just what I’ve been looking for! I would love to make adjustments via the creation of a child theme. However, the lineage of the theme is complex: It’s the child of a child (Twenty-Twenty begat Seedlet, which begat Blank Canvas).

The tips in Child Themes help don’t seem to apply. When I follow the instructions, I get an error: “The parent theme is not suitable.”

I would appreciate any advice on how to create a valid child theme from Blank Canvas.
