We attempted to edit the homepage and noticed that there is no longer a way to do so. I did some testing and “Theme Options” was removed starting in v1.2.5. I am not sure if this was intentional or not, but this completely blocks longtime users from editing the data on our homepage since this was built into the Blackbird Lite Theme Options selection that used to display under the Appearance menu. Are there any plans to fix this?

I use a static homepage, it was working fine until the website went down after the hosting provider solve the problem and disable some plug-ins.the website start working fine but the home page is blank, the other pages’ content are fine.
Although I can see the home page content on the dashboard > appearance> customize >home page feature area a screenshot in this link https://ibb.co/sRNyjXM
So how can I make the home page content show up again?

I noticed that there were posts on this topic from a few years ago but no resolutions spotted. I only have facebook and twitter social icons to put on this site, but if I leave the # I get the link to the main website, if I delete it makes no difference.

Is there a way to remove inactive social icons from this theme?

I was able to use HTML attributes in theme customizer.

For examaple, had <h1> and <a href> in Home Page Top Right Contact Info
Had links in Feature areas.

Now everytime I try to edit I lose that function and instead HTML is simply displayed on the webpage.

What gives? Was this disabled on purpose or did I do something?

I created several pages using the blackbird theme. Certain pages that I have created page wont allow me to put spaces between lines. and it wont allow me to separate paragraphs and the whole page is all together in one big paragraph. How can I put spaces or separate paragraphs on these pages? When editing the pages I hit enter to create the spacing but as soon as I click update it just compresses everything bac together in one big paragraph.

Hi, I installed woocommerce. On the “shop” and “product” pages the footer is messed up. The first widget becomes part of the “body” and the full width of the footer gets cut off at the sides. How to solve this?

So I am trying to widen the container on my fullwidth template page called team.

In the sytle.css for the theme I created these entries:

.team .container_24{
	width: 1200px;
}

.team .container_24 .grid_24{
	width: 1190px;
}

when I change these on the page through developer tools it works just fine, but for some reason when I updated the style.css it does not work.

I’m new to wordpress, and I can’t seem to figure out how to change the background on this theme. I have admin privileges, and I have access to the “customize” section on the toolbar. However, when I click on the tab for background image, it says that there is no background image selected. However, the page loads with a wood grain background. Another thing to note is the wood grain background image that loads doesn’t appear in my “media files”.

Anybody have an idea what’s going on here? I’d appreciate any help you could provide. Thanks!

I’m using Blackbird 1.2.3, and I’m having trouble with the Home Top Feature. I want to keep a photo there (though I’m going to switch out the photo I have there now), but I want to remove the grey box on the bottom right hand corner. I’ve tried messing around with the CSS as much as I’m comfortable with, and I haven’t gotten anywhere. Which brings me to my other question:

In the course of messing with the style sheet to try to get rid of that box, I somehow messed with my site’s title/tagline display. Bear with me here, I’m not really familiar with this stuff, but my issue is what is displayed at the top of the browser window when my page is open, I’m not sure what the correct terminology is. You’ll see that now, my page’s URL is displayed, when what I would like (and what was there before I messed with the CSS) was Julianne Meisner | Relief Veterinarian, Southern California. How do I get this back?
